  • The Best Defense Foundation is proud to announce our premier sponsor Delta Airlines for our return to Normandy in June 2022. This monumental partnership will bring WWII veterans to France for the 78th anniversary of D-Day. Delta will provide a charter Boeing 767 to fly directly from Atlanta to Deauville, France for the first time in history. We couldn’t think of a better way to honor these veterans after 3 long years!
The veterans will participate in a week-long program that will include the official D-Day Commemoration on June 6. All expenses are covered by Best Defense Foundation and corporate sponsors so that these veterans can return to their battlefields at ZERO cost to them.

I truly love what you all are doing. Pretty soon there wont be any of these men left, from the greatest generation!! (My opinion) I can't thank them enough for what they did. But I say it every chance I get.

      It's not an opinion, it's a fact.
A Fact that will live in infamy.

I wouldn't want to leave this world without one day meeting a hero of the Second World War, or a hero of the Korean War, Vietnam or Afghanistan... give him a hug and say: Thank you for having fought in the name of the freedom of many people.

I lost my grandpa last year on September 30th, but my last wish is to meet a ww2 veteran before they're gone, R.I.P to my grandpa and all world war 2 veterans, others wars.

To all the honor going to those who were there, but why now? Oh, since they are all dead, let's send them their if they are strong enough to make the journey. Who thought of this 40 years too late? Another way we manage to mistreat our veterans.

This has always been happening. Donnie alone has been doing this for almost 25 years. Why so salty?
