- First time making an animatic! I had to do this for school so i didnt have as much time as i wouldve liked to work on it but i did what i could! I'd like to give it another shot in the future maybe.
I couldnt do the full song because i didnt have time sfsadafd ((also big ty to my friends for reassuring me about how this looked since i was nervous af about it since ive never made an animatic before sdfasfs love u guys /p))
I know this isnt undertale related, but i'd like to make stuff for other things that interest me as this channel continues forward! I'm still gonna make undertale stuff ofc but i wanna upload other things lol

i absolutely love love love your animatic take on this song. the transitions are magnificent! especially at the lines "she can turn you into an animal" until "i'll help you conquer her". if you ever do complete it, i will be there to watch. but with this animatic, i am very very satisfied with what you have made.
That was my favorite moment as well! Also adored the trippy second chorus falling down the pit of what appears to be snakes and then shifts into Greek pottery motifs! Brilliant work!

This might be one of my favorite Hermes introductions! He looks so epic, pun not intended, the use of snakes was so original 😍 His design is so cute, he looks amazing, so an unhinged gremlin man, I really liked the use of Odysseus's past traumas as a way to make a point, you need my help to survive this.
Small question but what was with the baby in the lunch basket? I don't recall that being part of the Odyssey.
I think it was meant to be a reference to the events that occurred in the songs "The Horse and the Infant" and "Just a Man" from the Troy Saga of Epic. If you haven't heard those tracks yet, highly recommend!

Fun fact hermes is odysseus great grandpa in his mother side
Moly is a flower that grows from a field that was stained by the blood of a giant that tried to kill Circe long ago, it was killed by her father Helios the literal SUN. The flower, specifically the root, holds the power to render any spells or poisons Circe may use against the one who consumes it useless as Circe was unable to to do anything to the giant and the root bestows its protection to the consumer.
Warning: Only someone who is Deathless, such as a God, is able to harvest the root due to how deadly the process is.

Oh I love the snakes and wings since Hermes has winged boots and there's snakes on the Caduceus! I love how he resembles it when the snakes go up his arm, that's such a cool detail!! Also the use of purple is so good! The expressions on Odysseus's face when seeing the ship and how Hermes shows him all the times he wasn't strong enough, ough I love that! Hermes is essentially saying "You weren't strong then, but with my help you can be strong now" and I love that. The flower looks so gorgeous as well!
Other details I loved: The wine glass turning into a staff and then chains?!!! THAT'S SICK!!

Yes and no! I wanted to portray the chorus a bit somehow lol. I was primarily inspired by the muses from Hercules and old vases hehe, they aren’t telling a particular story though

I love the colours you used, the way Odysseus is pretty much just thrown around like a sack of potatoes through his worst memories, and how Hermes chucked Odysseus into a hallucinatory dream. This is a masterpiece!!! ❤❤❤
