  • CHUNKY BOHO BRAIDED WRAP BRACELET:
In this video, you will learn, step by step, with all the little tricks, how to make a faux suede triple wrap bracelet (with and without a wrapped chain) with Tibetan style metal beads and a dangling charm - Visit my beading supply shop www.etsy.com/shop/MichouBeads and have fun choosing any color cord and /or mix colors - The bracelet is composed of 1 braid using 2mm faux suede, 2 strands of 2mm and 1 strand of 3mm faux suede cord - Length of cord for a 6" wrist: Approx 26-28"- The beads used are tibetan style large hole beads (2mm and up hole)
SIZING: For a 6" wrist, the math is: 3X6" = 18" + add 2" = 20" total length of the bracelet from tip of clasp to ring - Same math applies for any wrist size
    SUPPLIES USED IN THIS VIDEO:
1- 2mm faux suede (this is the cord that is knotted)
    www.etsy.com/listing/18204695....
2- 3x1.5mm faux suede cord - you have the choice with the Ultra: www.etsy.com/listing/181456013/ultra-faux-suede-lace-cord-3x15mm-micro?r...
or the regular faux suede 3x1.5mm:
    www.etsy.com/listing/15665028....
3- Charm holder - you can use any but this is the one I use:
    www.etsy.com/listing/19535231...
    4- The large middle bead:
    www.etsy.com/shop/MichouBeads....
5- The bead on the braided cord:
    www.etsy.com/shop/MichouBeads....
    6- The other beads:
    etsy.me/1FXYpfR
    7- 14mm lobster clasp
    www.etsy.com/listing/18237302....
    8- 5mm jumprings etsy.me/1IZwVg1
9- 26mm wavy disc as focal charm:
    www.etsy.com/shop/MichouBeads...
10- At the end of the extension chain, I usually put these dangles:
    www.etsy.com/shop/MichouBeads....
OR you can put the 12mm disc:
    www.etsy.com/listing/15965511....
11- Chain to make an extension:
    www.etsy.com/listing/16066788....
12- Large hole bead to cover crimps:
    www.etsy.com/listing/19536455...
    13- 10x5mm fold crimps - #5417

I spent most of yesterday on the MichouBeads Etsy shop, and I'm so looking forward to playing with all of the beautiful goodies! Received a notice this morning that my order has already shipped! If you haven't checked out her Etsy shop, you're missing out on some great deals. I've seen a lot of online bead stores, but none come close to the quality and price. I found everything I needed in this one place. She is so helpful, too!

Do you have a web site on which you are showcasing your designs?? Would love to see your work - Putting all these cords in the crimp 10x5mm is a bit challenging, that's why I hide it with a large hole bead - I am glad you found " Plan B " for this problem!! Thank you for your encouraging compliments!!! Will upload more videos soon - Stay tuned

    • @vidbox44
      @vidbox44 10 лет назад +1

Alas, I do not have a website, and Etsy is just saturated. Most of my creations are showcased by family and friends! I'll get around to figuring out how to sell my wares one of these days. For now, I just really enjoy the process of creating. And videos like yours make it so much fun! Thanks, again.

    • @michoubeads
      @michoubeads  10 лет назад +1

Do not underestimate your presence on Etsy - If I can sell tons of jewelry everyday, you surely can turn your hobby into a nice little $$$ Biz - Use the perceived "competition and saturation" as a valuable tool for your shop - Here's an good analogy: Would you open a restaurant in the middle of nowhere and work extremely hard to get people to find you or on restaurant row where the masses are already looking for you?? That's how I see Etsy... just a thought.

I love this bracelet. I'm doing it myself but I'm confused about the supplies...just the cord. Your list says 2mm cord and 3 1.5mm cord. I see you are using 6 cords, so could you clarify for me what the other size cords are? I don't see anyone else asking this question, so I'm sure I'm just missing something blatantly obvious.
Thanks for your help. (I made the boho triple wrap tube bracelet and i love it)
