How I Learn Medicine as a Doctor

These are my strategies for how I learn medicine as a doctor.🧑‍⚕️🩺
🔹 Heavy Questions: I always ask myself thought-provoking questions that challenge my understanding and encourage critical thinking. Curiosity will make always make your learning more fun!
🔹 Cultivate Your Second Brain: I use Notion as my digital space where I can organize and store essential information, notes, and resources for quick reference and efficient studying.
🔹 Utilize Picmonic: I use visual mnemonic tools like Picmonic to reinforce memorization of complex medical concepts in a fun and engaging way.
🔹 Google Images: Visual aids can enhance my understanding. For me, it is faster and easier to search in Google Images to find relevant illustrations, diagrams, and charts to supplement my learning.
🔹 Review Articles: As a doctor, I stay updated with the latest research and medical advancements by reading review articles published in reputable journals.
🔹 RUclips Videos: If I find a topic hard to comprehend, RUclips videos are my best friend!
🔹 New England Journal Medical Case Studies: This is a good source to explore real-world medical cases to sharpen my diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Human Dx App: It's a collaborative diagnostic platform, to challenge myself with interactive clinical cases and learn from the collective wisdom of a global medical community.
🔹 Subconscious Learning: I make my mental processing quicker by categorizing new experiences quickly and overlaying them with past experiences.
