‘It's been a huge, huge effort’: Wave energy testing site nearing completion off the Oregon Coast

The PacWave site off the coast of Newport will be the first utility-scale, grid-connected wave energy test site in the United States - providing valuable data on how to harness the ocean's power. That's important because wave energy lags behind most other forms of renewable energy.
