About 20 years ago, after a long time, my family visited some of our relatives. They had many kids. I knew 5 elders cousins, and they introduced me 2 younger ones. A few years later, they all visited us, but there were only 6 kids. I asked about the youngest. Then things turned weird. They asked back, who? I told I were introduced 2 kids. I remembered their names, their face, and talked to them for a while. Everyone (included my family) said there was 1 kid only, and that because I had false memory. They even showed some photos. I lost the debate. Years passed, and I slowly accepted the fact. But deep inside I still trust my memory. No photo, no paper, no one knows him, then how his name, his face could get into my mind? True story.

Ok guys the weirdest thing just happened to me. So does anyone else remember pikachu having black on the end of his tail or even some brown lines. When I was 7 years old, I was given a pikachu toy for my birthday; I distinctively remember it having these coloured marks on its tail. So when I was doing some research today on the mandela effect, I thought of the pikachu doll and I went to go get it because I definitely remember it having those marks. There I went to the place I securely had it for years and it was just gone... I asked my parents and siblings if they had moved it and they said they hadn’t. We have no pets either that could’ve taken it; I knew straight away something was seriously wrong. I know all of you remember this feature of pikachu too. I truly believe that this theory is real and scary and there is something out there, above us in all aspects that we will never know about. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!

"The mendala effect" you say out loud, despite spelling it correctly. But that's jsut a nitpick. You using the Darth Vader quote though, and giving us misinformation on the Mirror Mirror thing which actually is the correct quote, but just wasnt in the Disney movie. That makes this video fall into the trash can along with all the others that try to talk about this by saying the EXACT SAME THINGS. And not fact checking any of it first. I cam here to learn something new, but I clearly know more than you after just a few hours. I hate how lazy people can be that they can all just keep posting the exact same info over and over and over.
"The mendala effect was named after Mandela" you even said it correctly here for the second bit! What are yo doing? Ugh Nope i can't even watch this to the end. Especially if this really does end with "Memories are bad and just go wrong sometimes." because there's a reason that has never worked to explain this effect before. Often what happens with the Mandela Effect is people remember the resulting media after an iconic movie, etc., not the movie itself.
For instance, a lot of these believers swear they "remember" Tom Cruise wearing sunglasses during the famous living-room dancing scene. He didn't. He wore sunglasses other times in the movie, but not that scene. However, it was parodied in potato chip commercials and other places, including an episode of "The Nanny," and they added the sunglasses.
How egotistical of people to believe there's some huge conspiracy altering space and time, rather than that they simply misremembered something.

Look, not trying to be a dick, but, let's pin it down. What, exactly, are you Mandela crowd saying? The very nature of reality was changed, and it mostly affected silly things like this? By who? Why? Most importantly, friggn HOW?
You seriously think you're of such sound mind that the above scenario seems more likely to you than your misremembering something? Jesus, the ego on you people.
I don't know why you drew a monocle. Maybe you saw some OTHER media, an article ABOUT Monopoly, where the pic included gave him one. People have been assuming that little ol' coot has a monocle for decades, because other cartoons of old rich guys DO. But he doesn't and he never has.
And to elaborate on Risky Business, it wouldn't have even made SENSE for him to have had sunglasses in that scene. The sunglasses were something he added when he started being a pimp, to show he was now "cool."
Again, not trying to be an asshole, but this shit is fascinating. What are you people saying happened? You can't believe something this big with no theory.

Advanced Raymondology I’m not implying anything, only that I clearly remember doing that drawing, we were on vacation at the time and to be honest was bored, stuck in the apartment because of bad weather, they had some board games in a storage box. No one wanted to play so I got some paper and drew Monopoly guy. I certainly couldn’t have done it from memory - so fair to say I used that as a reference. I have no idea why I drew the monocle. All I can think is in some countries he does have one and I copied that.

Some lady nearby said that of course it's "the lion and the lamb", and she was 100% sure and adamant about it. When she was directed to check the passage in her own Bible, she just couldn't believe what she was reading. She was completely perplexed. No matter how many times she read the passage, it said "the wolf and the lamb", not "the lion and the lamb". She just couldn't believe it.

When I was a kid I was in a foster home. The foster home treated me like garbage. When I went back to be with my grandmother for a short time we try to find where the foster home was at. We went to the place where it was supposed to be located but there was nothing there but the tree that was in the front yard. The house was gone just an empty plot of land but the tree that had the tree swing on it was still there it's as if I slipped into a reality that was in a different reality. I knew I was in the right place, I knew that this was where the foster home had been, but it was no longer there anymore. It it been just a short month since I've been at that foster home and it had disappeared. That was my first recollection of being and the Mandela effect.

Its very confusing when it happens, as the years have gone on for me these moments have gotten longer and longer to the point where i literally know what i do next and its like im following a pre determined path, even though i know this i still cant change course in that moment until the deja vu has ended then its like its handed back in my full control. Who knows what it truly is but our free will we think we have could all just be an illusion.

I can tell people what they was wearing Back in 1998 during middle school field day. I was sent to a doctor back in 2003 when I was in the 11th grade and he and his assistant take a picture and at the time I didn’t know why. I went to the same doctor five years later and he told me to describe the day he took the picture. Everything I named was in the picture down to they clothes and hairstyles. I was tested for a few weeks and the Told me I have synesthesia, which helps me remember things that the average person wouldn’t and it retains in my brain for years and years and years. So when I tell you I remember things from my childhood that I remember, like the Atlanta braves winning the 1990 and 1995 World Series and only a handful of people remember it to then that’s the universe telling us that we intermingled with other universes or other timelines. Disproved universes don’t behave in this manner then I’ll believe you. There are things in his world that cannot be explained and science is not the God of all answers.

I argued the same... I vividly remember resetting my phone in the past with only the power and home buttons. But my boyfriend remembers that since he was in high school.. it has always been every button. Does anyone else has vivid memories of it?

I clearly remember him with the oracle in he’s eye !! So did my wife and many more .. where this gets tricky is .. if it was true and it was a human imagination or bad memory why would millions have the same memory . Wouldn’t the math numbers come into play maybe a few thousands would say yes he didn’t hv a oracle vs millions n millions of people worldwide saying he never did .. but that’s not the case it’s a extremely large amount of people that all had the same shared memory of the monopoly guy having a oracle on he’s eye

Its funny how the monopoly man was referenced in Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura 2 with a monocle.

They released a movie to take away from the fact that strange things have been happening.. and now anyone that actually believes in the mandella effect will look like a fool. Government tactics.. and its scary.. but what can ya do. Keep your mind open to new ideas. And just always follow what you belive in your heart. Thats really all we can do in our short existence. Live ur best life while u are able to.

I 100% remember The Berestein Bears. I focused on this specifically as a child because I wanted to learn cursive before we learned it in class. This being the title of a book series I enjoyed, it was a good launching point. I also remember talking to my parents about why it wasn't pronounced "stein" like Frankenstein. I wasn't aware of names like Weinstein.

For this reason. I believe that in Empire, one of the greatest movies of all time, people who remember Vader saying "Luke, I am your father!" Is what they actually heard.
