laurel, i fear you wouldn’t be able to function after reacting to more gidle songs, specifically “oh my god”. i adore gidle and the message behind a lot of their songs/comebacks, especially within the past couple of years. for super lady, they were all powerful women -aka super ladies lollll (in order): athena (soyeon), medusa (minnie), marie antoinette/queen of hearts (no clear consensus tbh - shuhua), cruella (yuqi), cleopatra (miyeon). so glad you loved them!!!
Worth noting that the set designer for the MV has said that Shuhua is supposed to be Queen of Hearts.
I love (G)I-DLE. Their discography is diverse. They can nail any concept. Their Music Videos are awesome.
Can't wait till she finds out G-idle is a self produced group and Soyeon the only 4th gen lady in the komca top placed 6th in the KOMCA list (2023 list). 🤤
ten has another great solo song, Birthday! the dance practice also shows why he’s considered one of the best dancers in kpop, very sexy🤨
'Love Wins All' broke the Internet (Trending #1 for a couple of days straight and was still trending a week later) and also broke just about every reactor so don't worry, you are not alone in crying or having your mascara ruined. It broke some BIG STRONG MANLY-MAN"S MEN reactors too, so it is not just a 'Sensitive Girl' thing. This song and MV are SUPPOSED to be emotion-stirring, that is what ART is ALL ABOUT. IU is an Artist and has been ever since debut.
IU is 30 years old now but she debuted as a Soloist when she was 15, with damned great reason. She's the All-Rounder Queen of more than just K-Pop, she's THE SUPERMODEL who does EVERYTHING including acting. She knows the business from every angle.
Frankly, I worry about the mental states of those who did NOT cry watching 'Love Wins All'.
It is truly wild that your intro to g-idle is Wife 😂😂😂 they're so cool tho, despite that insane video lol. Like Stray Kids they're largely self produced. Also, 2 of the members are the voices behind K\DA, the virtual kpop group created for League of Legends.
One reason that IU and V's chemistry was so good in the mv is that they are very good friends in real life! Another is that both have acted before, and IU in particular has a very good acting career. I barely made it through the love wins all mv the first time I watched it lmao, I couldn't watch it for days afterward.
Also! It would be awesome if you could get into some more (G)I-DLE! They're absolutely amazing, one of my favorite groups.

I’ve been obsessed with Ten since Phantom came out last year. His solo stuff is quite different from his WayV/NCT stuff but I just LOVE him!

P1Harmony's music has been my latest obession. I can't stop listening to Killin' it, Late Night Calls and I See U from their new album. Their album has some of the cutest Target exclusive cards that I have ever seen. They are holding duck plushies in them. Thankfully I was able to trade for my bias, Jiung (red/orange hair in the music video). I think that you should really check out their album because the photoshoots are sooooo cool. The two from the video that you were point out a lot are Theo (cute pouty face) and Soul (cool hair).

Yes TEN definitely got taste! He's also a visual artist and his stylistic choices in performances/dance and the way he makes dancing to almost any genre look so effortless and natural show how he has such an impeccable aesthetics! He even looks elegant dancing to hip-hop without of course losing his swag! I guess it's also one of the reasons why YSL chose him as their brand ambassador.
It's funny that you mentioned Joker coded for the P1Harmony song @1:06:05 because in the P1Harmony (피원하모니) - '때깔 (Killin’ It)' Dance Practice Behind video Jiung (the one with red hair in the video) talked about how he wanted it to be joker-esque. I love this group. I just started listening to them as well. Keeho, the one that did the run that you liked so much followed by the vocal fry, has filmed himself reacting to reactors reactions. He really needs to see your reaction! He would love it.
For the IU video, I cried too as did most everyone who watched it. V's acting is superb (he actually acted in a K-drama, "Hwrang"). You should check out his recent MV that just came out 4 days ago. You would LOVE it. It is called "FRI(END)S"
I don't normally listen to girl groups, but (G)I-DLE is slowly growing on me. My 5-year old daughter loves "Queencard"

So glad you loved ‘Nightwalker’ by Ten!! 💚 His whole music video is like a piece of art. He’s one of the few artists I know who can perfectly combine a dark concept with sensuality. Like other comments have mentioned, you should check out his music video and dance practice for his song ‘Birthday’! He moves like water, so fluid and elegant ✨
If you liked the vibe of the video for ‘Nightwalker’, I highly recommend you watch the solo artist Taemin!! He’s a member of the 2nd gen boy group SHINee and he has one of the biggest and most successful careers with his solo work as well. His vocals, choreography, visuals, literally everything is so amazing that it will leave you in awe!
For a dark but sensual vibe, I would suggest watching Taemin’s music videos for ‘Guilty’ (2023) ‘Criminal’ (2020), ‘Idea’ (2020),‘Advice’ (2021), or ‘Want’(2019)! He’s also extremely known for his song ‘Move’ (2017) which I think you will enjoy!!

Ten is such a talented and skillful artist! Easily one of the best dancers in the industry (i am NOT even exaggerating) and his vocal development from debut until now is insane. nct is a 26 member group with 5 subunits which is nct127, nct dream, nct u, wayv, nct dojaejung (djj) and nct wish. basically wayv is their chinese subunit and ten is part of it. and nct u hosts all members and the songs are selected according to which member fits the concept better so ten is a member of nct u too. here is my recommendation if you want to see more of them

also you’re right! Ten said he got inspiration for his nightwalker character after watching A24’s Talk To Me & wanted to emulate the same type of mood/vibe in the mv.
Love Wins All is such a tearjerker for me, I made it maybe 20 seconds into the MV before my emotions started to swell up. Both V and IUs acting in that MV was quite compelling and her vocals along with the story just pushed me over the edge. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO BE WITHIN A DEGREE OF BTS 🤣I really really hope you check them out in the near future. BTS's message is all about loving yourself and they are known to sing and have conversations about subjects that aren't commonly spoken about in South Korea (i.e. mental health). You have mentioned before that you love lore, well honey, they have it and it is quite dark so I think you would enjoy it. BTS's rapline (RM, Suga, jhope) have some of the most deep and thought provoking lyrics I have come across in kpop. BTS are big supporters of the LGBTQ+ community and are all about unity through music and spreading positivity to the world. Fair warning if you do end up checking them out, their lyrics aren't just taken at face value, there is usually a lot of word play and deeper meaning behind them but that's not something you have to deep dive into, unless you want to, just thought I would give you a little bit of info for the fun of it. P.S. I'm not just trying to push BTS onto you because I am ARMY, I am also a giant STAY, ATINY, THE B, EXOL, and many others hahaha. I just don't want you to miss out on checking out another group that you might truly love and if you don't, that's okay too ☺💜

I'm actually super surprised you didn't notice the drag queen extras in Super Lady! The extras for Yuqi(Cruela) and Shuhua(Queen of hearts) are the same extras just in suits for one and in drag for another.
(G)I-dle is my all time favorite group, they got me into K-Pop! I hope you do do a watch-through for them I'd definitely watch it! They have a very widespread discography that is highly worth checking out. I've seen Oh My God recommended and I couldn't agree more, but also Lion, Nxde, Never stop me, My bag, HWAA(Which is actually the 3rd part in a trilogy so you'd also have hear HANN(Alone) and HANN(Alone in winter),also worth it), Revenge, Fate, Uh Oh, I Do, I want that, etc... Every song they have is worth listening to! Also Queencard was a 2 parter with the prerelease Allergy and it's worth checking them out together cause they have a pretty awesome message.
Also most of them have solo content out there that is very worth checking out! Yuqi's Bonnie and Clyde is probably the most popular, but there's also Miyeon's Drive, and Soyeon's Jelly, Beam beam, and Bad B****** Number(Featuring Lee Yeongji, and BIBI) also BIBI did a song recently called sugar rush which is worth checking out (Soyeon is featured in the music video)
Also I absolutely NEED more people to react to "Wow Thing" which is a colab Soyeon did with Chung Ha, SinB and Seulgi. I think you'll enjoy it cause it's awesome and you clearly have amazing taste!

Yessss gidle has a lot of empowering concepts/messages and oftenly addresses important issues. Allergy, Queencard, nxde, I want that and oh my god are especially known for the storytelling and addressing of controversial topics which a lot of musicians do not talk about (f.e.: sexualization of the female body (nxde), abusive relationships (I want that), self esteem issues and unrealistic beauty standards (allergy & queencard), queer love (oh my god) etc...
It’s one of the things I love most about them, they are def my fav girl group based on concepts :)

G(I)DLE’s concept for this last comeback is one of the more queer coded ones they’ve done… but oh my god is on a similar level and even has lyrics that relate to girlies… nxde is a song they did inspired by Marilyn Monroe and Banksy and genuinely has one of the most powerful feminist messages in kpop (my opinion).
