- My 2001 Ford F350 Super Duty with a 5.4 2V Triton V8 Motor 4X4 with 4.30 gears towing the Massey Ferguson 6 cylinder diesel with rototiller attachment. Tractor + Rototiller is 6500 lbs and my trailer is another 2200 lbs making it an 8700 lbs load. The truck handled it pretty well, even on the long hills we had to go over.

Good times.
great video man
Thank you :) I really appreciate your kind comment
I'm happy with my f150 5.4, plenty of power and pretty good gas mileage for a truck single cab 2wd I've achieved 20 mpg on vacation driving on the highway before, Ford wouldn't have built that motor for over a decade if it was bad.
I like that 🚜
Just subbed man. I've a 96 SRW 7.3. Starting to think lately that I really want to make money with my truck so they pay for themselves. Gonna look into this further. I'll probably get a 2wd 01+ 7.3 dually to keep it looking professional as my truck is daily driven and rusted out.
Awesome!! Thank you very much for your sub man, I really appreciate it :)
need to cross chain the back of tractor it will keep the chain from the tires
so any issues with the truck? how many miles on it? plugs holding up? I hear tell that the plugs like to blow out and strip the holes. reason asking is I been looking at a 2002 f350 same engine.
I never had any insane issues in the time I owned the truck. However I had the engine replaced with a new long block a while ago thinking I would be keeping the truck for several more years, and within a handful of months the truck bagan burning oil at an alarming rate (it burned oil badly with the original engine too) and I tried contacting my mechanic who installed the motor and to contact the warranty company and the company no longer was in business, so no warranty 😒 so I sold the truck for what it was. But besides my crap luck with that particular warranty & company it was a good truck and I never had issues with spark plugs shooting out or stripping off. I torqued my plugs to 30 ft/lbs and never had an issue.
I subscribed nice truck I have a 2001 f250 5.4l 158k miles extended cab long bed I'm sure but not positive Its a 3.73 cause that was the most common rearends in this year a truck well take care
How wide is the tractor, and how wide is the trailer?
I have Tundra 2021, 5.7 4x4 . Can it towing like this tractor?
How long is that trailer?
What's the demension of your trailer?
It's been quite a while since I've owned that particular trailer however I believe it was a little over 7' between the fenders and it had 16' of deck length. Also had tandem 5200 lbs axles
I have 5.4,you need to pull some hills, then you realize a bigger engine is required.
Thanks for the comment. And yes, if you pull extremely heavy everyday than I probably would advise getting a diesel truck for the hills. But in all honesty, I've pulled as heavy as 14,500 lbs with this very truck on a gooseneck trailer (trailer+load) and it handled it a Lot better than I thought it would. I would never do that every day with it, but once in a blue moon I know the truck's up for the challenge. Even with that 14,500 lbs load the truck could still hold 80 km/hr no problem up some respectable hills. But if I ever towed that heavy more often I would honestly get a dually for it. Average weight I pull with this truck is anywhere from 3000-10,000 lbs with the very rare occassion of 12,000 lbs or so. 5.4L and 4.30 gears does what I need it to and it never gives me attitude. One day I may get a 7.3 in an F450 or F550 configuration.
