Basically another regression of Peter Parkers character IMO. why not just make him a professional bum? It would save later writers time attempting to explain why he can't keep a job.

With this at least I know it is temporary with a cause/good intentions. However, I've just grown bitter over Marvel resetting Parker over the years.
Decembirth no, he rebuilt Parker Industries from the ground up (after this story and secret wars) And is a proper CEO and recognized worldwide. He's just safe keeping the Baxter Building (as an Parker Industries expense) for the Fantastic Four until they all return.

To all the people saying that this is Spider-Man regressing again, believe me, I know the feeling.
Then the post Secret-Wars stuff happens, and Peter goes full Iron Man, even taking shit seriously at the company. It's legit getting good. Sadly there isn't a trade out yet so it'll be a while until Comicstorian covers it.
I'm glad i stopped reading Spiderman comics when i did. These stories just seem to be constantly following the same format in which a villain ruins something inadvertently important to peter, whether that be a job or a relationship and Peter ends up getting made a fool of or is untrustworthy in the eyes of people that know him as Spiderman and/or Peter Parker.
The stories are all the same and it's beginning to get really frustrating to see such a create character have all of his potential _wasted_ by the writers.
There's more to Spiderman than being a Bad-Luck Magnet and I wish they'd treat him that way for once.

The problem is Slott, he's lazy and not a good fit for Spider-Man anymore. His run on Spider-Man should have ended ages ago, he's ripping off Batman Inc now for crying out loud.

I didn't say that Spider-Man is like Batman, what I said is that this new gimmick is ripping off the concept of Batman inc. This is Slott being lazy as always, the only reason he made Peter a CEO in the first place is so he can have access to deus ex machina devices, just like what we saw in this story. We have enough CEO superheroes already and if Renew Your Vows prove anything is that Marvel is going in the wrong direction yet again with there flagship character.

When I started collecting Spider-Man books for the first time (after Superior Spider-Man), I liked how Peter was getting his life back to a sense of normal for him. Personally, I think the introduction of Silk was the highlight of the new Amazing Spider-Man run. I've already read the first couple of issues the All-New, All-Different Spider-Man books and I got to say, I'm liking the new direction they're going with Peter.
Finally a Spiderman story. I've been waiting for ages

Manuel Oliva most?.. a few maybe but most are just content on putting criminals to jail and waiting for the GOD AWFUL judicial system of DC/MARVEL earth to maybe one day execute these mass murderers (ie. joker, nitro).. peter wants to build a supermax facility to "cure" these killers, i wonder if he's gonna make a "revive all innocents" machine so that the families of said killer's victims who are not gonna get justice for their dead relatives have something to gain.. oh and batman supports arkham and gotham's crooked system which leads to joker escaping and killing over and over and over.. like i said, fridge logic at its best, but hey, comics cant earn money from dead villains.. haha..

this is a lovely story
it would be cool if you did other stories from other publishers like from Valiant comics, instead of just DC and Marvel. Shed some light on the smaller guys hahah. Especially since they are planning on making a movie about Bloodshot, and many more of their characters. Not that many people know about these characters or even know about that publisher. Dark Horse is great too.. But I love your stuff man! I use your videos to get my friends into comics and certain stories so keep it up.

Heroes Reborn and the Ultimate Universe.
They are the closest Marvel has ever come to even exploring the idea of a reboot. The Heroes Reborn universe was destroyed in Heroes Return and the Ultimate Universe was destroyed in Secret Wars. Secret Wars serves no greater purpose than be a vastly better written version of Ultimatum.
