Divine Intervention has to be my favorite album. Probably doesn't even have any of my top 5 (maybe 10) individual Slayer songs on it, but I enjoy the entire album whenever I put it on where some other albums I will just skip to my favorite songs and blow past the rest.. Also this may have been influenced by my very first introduction to slayer being their Live Intrusion concert DVD which featured a lot of the Divine Intervention songs, and that whole concert is absolutely sick, i've watched it probably 50 times so I have some nostalgia for a lot of those songs .

The more unique out of em all.
And some of the best vocals from Tom to boot.
Hell Awaits was fine from the 1st listen,but it grew on me.
Not counting Undisputed Attitude since it's a covers album:

I don't think Slayer has made a bad album. Even Diabolus In Musica is decent enough.

this thing of going to wikipedia and showing the musics and talking about them is very nice.
Show No Mercy and Reign in Blood are my all time favorites, masterpieces of thrash metal.

My taste in Slayer has evolved over time too, Show No Mercy is my favourite.
One of the reasons is that there is simply NOT enough music out there in that unique "transitional style". There's a ton of Reign In Blood clones out there but Show No Mercy feels like an album that's somewhere between NWOBHM and Black/Thrash Metal, making it a lot cooler and more unique sounding.

@@Questformetal The biggest complaints I've seen about the new Kerry King song is that it sounds like "Slayer by numbers", so it's clear that they played out their later style.
I wish Kerry would do an album full of SNM-style songs instead!

Reign in Blood and Seasons in the Abyss are 2 of my favourite albums and it depends what day it is as to which is my favourite. Divine Intervention is pretty good and then not fussed about the rest really.

Heronymos Bosch is the artist you are thinking of. Seasons and South are my two favs.
Seasons should be S teir for sure and i enjoy Diabolus whats not to like its heavy and groovy as hell.I mean its not your typical Slayer album but they did a good job with the album for what it is

You probably meant picture by Heronimus Bosch /South Of Heaven/ ,they did not use one of his paintings for the cover but obviously, the artist who did the illustration was strongly inspired by Bosch.

I remember listening to the first album after being scared by it, by the cover, and it just sounded so much like actual compositions. I Loved it.
Also, "At Dawn They Sleep" is my favorite! I love the lyrics, and the way Araya delivers them.
Slayer were one of the bands that got me into metal so they'll always hold a special place for me when it comes to fast, relentless thrash metal. Anything after Seasons in the Abyss is hit or miss but the first 5 albums will always be legendary. Here would be my ranking:

My S tier is identical to yours, probably the A tier as well, in that order. Their last 4 sound more or less same-ish to my ears, nothing wrong with any of them, but it's like Slayer-by-the-numbers. Of course the odd highlight here and there, but they're hard for me to rank. And I'm not as hot on GHUA as most people seem to be. Divine is still really good, miiiiiiight bump SOH down a spot but it really depends on my mood. Diabolus in Musica is, as you said, very good, just not AS good as as the others. And Undisputed Attitude was a pleasant surprise for me, and I'd have that above Diabolus.
Their first 5 albums were all masterpieces I think, and that is pretty unique for a band probably. After those my favorites are Divine Intervention, God hates us all and Diabolus in Musica. Christ Illusion is also pretty good, but I don't care much about the other few.

oh well...their first six albums, Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, Reign In Blood, South Of Heaven, Seasons In The Abyss and Divine Intervention were magnificent, they really were...but after these albums, they somehow lost it...maybe they tried to be more "modern", but I don't really think that it worked out...they even added some nu metal elements in their music, and this only worsened things...
I agree but I barely listen to hell awaits and show no mercy. I like show no mercy a lot more has a lot of classics. I very rarely listened to anything after divine. Except I got ghua when it came out I liked it at first but the lyrics and song writing is so cringy.
