Wow I love what you created! I juste love the way you tackle a “ problem “… sharpening your needle and pouff needle on the machine just didn’t want to work anymore 😮😂 lol my gosh greatest job ever … thank you for sharing 😊
Ah! How I love corset making videos! I am right now making a new under-bust for myself. This would be my 5th or 6th corset attempt. It does get better each time. I love how yours turned out, love the decorative bits and the flossing! I have a bit more to fuss with mine because I am asymmetrical and have scoliosis... but we are getting there.
No. To get rid of that I either need more channels or a sturdier fabric. It's difficult to use silk satin in a corset, and this pattern has minimal boning as it is. It could also be that the tention between silk and interfacing is wrong, if they are not basted together correctly.
Hi, i my country its called a seam-o-metre, I've also heard the name sewing gauge, it's common in northern europe, but in the US it's more difficult to find. It's extremly handy!
This is the first time I have ever seen someone sharpen a needle before. Your corset turned out lovely. 1880's corsets are my favorite.

I'm attempting to make my first corset right now and this video is very helpful! Thank you! 😃
This came out beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I've never seen anyone else sharpen their needles before. I thought I was the only one who did that

Thank you and good luck! This is the first proper one I've tried to make, already looking forward to try again :)
With your boning channels, could you pull the top and the bottom of the corset to smooth out the scrunching.

Good afternoon! What is the metal tool with multiple angled edges called? Looks like it's a seam allowance ruler? Idk the correct name lol.
Thank you!

I think a waist tape would help reduce tension
