I love this soooo much. I really want a comfy costume to wear to conventions, and this seems perfect. Plus - linen isn't super warm so this is going to be great for cons here in the Deep South.
Excellent! I was sitting in my paint booth at work today pondering how I would even attempt to tackle a set of Jedi Robes. I'd like to make some Clone Wars General robes for myself. Now I have a great clue how! Thanks Zonbi!
Thank you! and here are the measurements of material I used: 4 yards of linen for the under robe, 4 yards of linen for the two longer rectangle pieces 1/2 yard of linen for the belt 6 yards of linen for the outer robe
Have you heard of fabric interfacing? It’s used to stabilize any thing you can think of and make with fabric. It comes in different thicknesses just like foam. You get it at Joanne’s & place it between 2 pieces of fabric, sew then iron. Amazing stuff. It’ll help you use less fabric.
This is great tutorial for making the cloak and robes, whether for a Jedi or some other project. The thought of doing a Jedi costume for Halloween or something has been floating around my head for a while, so I'll keep this video in mind. How did you come by your mannequin, if you don't mind my asking?
zonzon could i commission you to make me a Jedi tunic(costume)????? Iactually wear them as cloths like a monk would mostly because they are really comfortable and i study the Jedi religion minus the power lol but i do teach lightsaber techniques and fight in kendo tournaments but everybody uses sabers....
Joe Bitetti You can use any style in kendo just most use katana styles of combat I was taught long sword and katana but I use a ninjato sized blade personally
Oi eu sou Brasileiro , eu achei seu canal no RUclips de repente eu tava pesquisando e voce apareceu kkkkk mas muito top seu canal faz tutoriais de cosplays :) Bye ( Pls use Google Translator )

This is awesome! Another trick for a simple jedi tunic is using a pair of long pants just draped down your front :)

Hi jake

Oh you noticed! The viking is used to help out with home defense. He also doubles as a walking furnace. Also makes great food 11/10.

Yes... its a space cat and it gives you the force

Do you have any ideas for unique colors for the robe/cloak
Do you think you will ever do a Sith robe version?
