Ichang & jimmy really know where & how to avoid crowds..love their laid back kind of video..always go to a very local place..and the hornbills are cheeky..seems like they are used to people
Even we malaysian dont know the place they bring us exist
I'm stunned seeing so many hornbills flying freely at Pangkor Island, whereas I hardly spot one on The Land of Hornbills here! The kingfisher is spectacular too!
Correct. I hardly see hornbills in Kuching. Instead I see a few long legged white stork in my area.
Laksa mee is created by my sister's late mother in law. She is chinese but adopted by mamak's family. All of them are pangkor's local people. I used to eat when i was a kid. The noodles she made are fresh. Soooo gooood.. now, my sister lives in kampung masjid, pangkor. She still made the original recipe.😊 btw the one u said temple earlier is a mosque too. The design inspired by a chinese culture and architecture.

OMG, I had a long-time friend from uni she is Orang Pulau Pangkor. Still, remember that year during college break she invited us to visit her home town and we had an unforgettable night in her hometown. Her family owns a small resort on the beach side and we spent a wonderful night sleeping at the resort. Absolutely, unforgettable experience. In Sarawak, there were a lot of big hornbills too. My hometown used to have many of these birds just outside our house when I was young when the area was still undeveloped.
OMG iChang! Jimmy! I am super jealous that you guys had the chance to see hornbills that close!!! The only hornbill that I see in my whole life was at the zoo 🤣🤣 Now Pangkor Island is calling me!!
Btw I am so amazed with Ichang 😱 She already can tell the different types of laksa just by looking and tasting it. Even my 30y/o sister also cant tell the difference lol! 🤣🤣🤣
Hornbills always fly to my rural house for looking fruits on the trees.
I quite mad when Vietnamese workers stole hornbill babies from a nest in front of my house. I was away and unable to call police to arrest them.
I always scolded and chased out those bird catchers who came to my house compound.
Yes me three...Lucky there was no Crows..just the Hornbills...Amazing

in malaysia,sometimes we jokes about local animal coming to us,like the hornbills to ichang to get the food ,abang long datang kutip cukai (big bro coming to collect taxes) ,since u are an outsider,so must give.. like when u in someone territory,then the ruler sees u and demanded payment.. its good to see ichang & jimmy get to up close and personal with hornbill,truly a majestic animal to be sorrounding with..

During my childhood, we always have this laksa pangkor. Nowadays, its not easy to get at other place. Their noodle is special. Only can find local also at market inside Naval Camp Lumut.. really miss my childhood era.. 😊

jimmy..if u still at pangkor, try go eat laksa or nasi lemak at pantai pasir bogak, the shop got one big coconut shape shop near the beach, at morning u both can go breakfast eating roti canai at kampung before polis station.
me and my wife when we go pangkor, at night we hangout and make a camping fire at the pasir bogak beach...such a peacefully stay there. u guys should try it...by the way, have fun both of u 😊

there's one resort in Teluk Nipah where every evening the owner will call all the hornbills around the area to give them eat..
My childhood hometown is Sitiawan which near to Pangkor. I haven’t been back there for so long. I miss laksa mee Pangkor. You can’t find that noodle in KL
For Jimmy, when we say 'pedas sikit,' it commonly signifies ‘more spicy’, just like 'banyak sikit,' which means a little extra 😂 can try ‘taknak banyak’ (not too much) next time? 🤭
Maybe "Kurang pedas" or "Sikit je" would be good too

Pangkor ,I remember buying lots of Keropok ikan & Keropok udang there, it was cheaper than elsewhere. Love your video about Pulau Pangkor.
You should try jungle tracking and go to teluk segadas where there is beautiful beach that not reach by road there. Only by tracking or by boat.
My grandma and me live there for 15 years now
