- Today we surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland! This surprise came only hours after finding out our 11 year old son had just broken his arm at his friends house. We have always wanted to go this time of year because the park is decorated in Christmas! The road trip there was not what we expected though and poor Turin (our 11 year old son) had to go a full 15 hours in the car with his broken arm. It has not yet been casted either since he broke his arm the night before we left! So he was tough and managed the pain like a champ but it was a rough road trip for sure!

Wow that Turbo is a pretty special young man, he has broken arm and having discomfort yet he holds the door for his siblings and parents. Thats a proud parent moment right there if I ever seen one.

What a trooper making two long car trips in less than a week Turin & Lindsey I hope you get rested before you hit Disney full speed ahead! The kids were so good and Justin any 15 hour drive is really a workout to stay focused to get to your destination. I used to do a lot of 8 to 10 hour trips and I know how hard that would get after a while!

Loved watching this! I don't mind road trips too much but we don't do them a whole lot anymore though but sometimes my parents and I go on little road trips with my brother and his 2 kids. We did do some road trips when I was a little girl though but they weren't too bad and my parents and I and my brother and sister did go to Myrtle Beach with some friends and their family which wasn't a very fun vacation though.
7:45 Ava is a whole mood 😂 Guys even though you know where you are going sometimes the GPS will advice you of traffic and a re-route(you know what never mind too many horror movies have this plot line)
So you have a quick pit stop and buy some candies, and as you're leaving who's the nice guy holding the door -- Mr Broken Arm! Talk about not letting it get you down...
