Mmmm lovely camping. Like me the further you get away from people and off the beaten trap the happier I get. I was away on the weekend and rode through Halls Gap in Western Vic. Caravans packed in 8 foot apart. Later that day I camped on the Glenelg River in a beautiful spot all to myself watching the swans cruise by. Great video mate!
Cheers, yes the further away from other people the better. Always happy for the caravaners to be camping together as it leaves more areas for the rest of us. Cheers Paul
Nice looking wild country there. And I love that rendition of "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms". I don't know that I've ever heard a purely instrumental version of that.
Nice one . Yes sometimes filming gets in the way of just being there . Although when editing and watching your films later its like reliving it again which is nice . Happy camping
@BudgeProjects unfortunately no, it’s getting really hard to find places that are away from everyone else. I just find a road crossing a river and then hike in .
Hi Chris, you are correct which is what I state in my video. It's a copy that is missing key items. But the idea of the video was to simply try this out as a subscriber bought it for me. Great concept. Cheers Paul
Good upload Paul. I have often wondered how the YouTubing things impacts on the joy of those doing it. There must be times when you just want to leave the camera gear at home. Or maybe you do. As for the weather. It hasn’t been kind to the outdoors enthusiast so far this year. I’m guessing you were a fair way up the Clarence by the look of the width of the river. God to see you put a video up.
Yes it can get in the way, but, sometimes it also pushes you out the door which isn't always bad. Yeah I was closer to the QLD border on the river, nice stretch. Thanks for all our support Ken as always . Cheers Paul

Thanks Steve, the music just seamed to fit the whole style of the video.
Loads of food in the ration pack, you certainly didn’t go hungry! Very Camo as well you very well blended in!
Cheers, yes I was amazed at how well the camp disappeared into the surroundings.
Nice lightweight setup
Sure is
In the army reserves for 7 years and enjoyed eating theses food packs for two weeks a year and they had 6 different packs to choose from
Yeah I’m surprised at just how good they are

That is NOT an Australian Army ration pack.
