@@StephanieLaerkeAndersen Unlikely, he may appear in parliament but to make a speech he will want to bide his time until Labour do something particularly stupid which shouldn't be a long wait.
The first speech is restricted to two minutes and is a formality after the swearing in. He didn't waste even that - he used it to thank the Speaker and compare him favourably to the "little man" who preceeded him (Bercow).
He was roundly booed by all the usual suspects, so he's getting under their skin already!

Cameron was a terrible Foreign Secretary but there's a good chance that Lammy will be be even worse. In Cameron's defense he did take a risk on Scottish Independence and won. And he was brave enough to give us a referendum on Brexit and I'm grateful for that.
When Brexit didn't go his way (whatever your view) he did the decent thing and resigned.

And Starmer will take us back into the EU, make no mistake about that ! And we'll be paying even more than before, plus we'll have no veto over anything, and certainly no rebate, as we had before. The Reform MPs will just be ignored by the other political parties. Farage may think he will sit on all of the important committees and be consulted on all major decisions but this isn't going to happen. And if he or any of the others misbehave then they will simply be suspended.
Oakeshott is brilliant. One of the few who sees reality for what it is and isn't afraid to say it how it is. She should run for parliament under reform at the next election.
