IFAK Essentials | How to Pack a Combat Medic Bag

- Опубликовано: 11 июл 2024
- After EDC and Prepping, we reached the last sequence of the How to Pack a Medic Bag series. Combat Medicine is Luka Zorenč's's bread and butter and you're up for a treat. First, the IFAK Essentials.
Bear in mind there's not only one way to prepare your medic bag. You probably wouldn't smack a mosquito sitting on your crotch with the same force as you'd hammer a nail. We always try to adapt to our operational environment.

"I know you're used to having small things in your hand." I laughed out loud. This guy is great.
These combat medic videos are great. I just finished the one on nasopharyngeal airways. “I’m not going to ask why he has lube in his bag. You can use if for many things but we’ll use it for the airway tube”
“Scissors for scissoring”🌚
I know you're used to having small things in your hand.....wait a minute 🤣
got to love this dry sense of humor
He went total euro dick joke on us lol!
I raised my hand and quickly lowered it once I realized
"Check you ego at the door." True words :)
Sadly, that's so often not the case in civilian EMS (I can't speak for military experiences as I have never had the honor of serving). Far too many "para-gods" out there who look down on anyone with less certifications than they have. Checking one's ego at the door is truly one of the greatest necessities in any field in which you serve others.
Absolutely love these videos by you guys, even as civilian EMS. These series have helped me plan out my EDC IFAK and build some up for my family
Thats amazing. 🔥 Happy to hear our videos were helpful.
A year late to the party, I am, and I know it but I'll echo that sentiment. These videos have helped me immensely and are entertaining to boot, which makes them that much better
Short and to the point. Very good work.
"Life is like a box of chocolates. It doesn't last too long for fat people". Priceless. Do you mind if I use that?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this guy’s accent for some reason
It adds legitimacy lol
"It is better to have proper equipment and be alive, than 'tacti-cool,' and dead." Truer words have never been spoken.
So if I'm trained in the use of the chocolate bar, I'm basically a medic!
"for when I get Hangry", made my day Bro! Short and sweet, just as we love it! Looking forward to seeing the next episode!!!
Excellent stuff Luca! Reading your book now mate. Cheers.
Awesome information thank you.
As always, you guys rocked it!!!

UF PRO MAKES THE BEST VIDEOS PERIOD!!!!!!

Thanks for the video. 👍
Our pleasure. 🤙🏼

Can't believe I have run across y'all until a week ago. This channel rocks!
Kevin, Enjoy the next 300 hours of UfPro viewing. tons of info and excellent clothing.
@@Patrickjohnphotography I can't believe this isn't behind a pay wall. No ego, No BS, just solid knowledge.
I come for the insults and stay for all the Luka sayings. Another fantastic video. Love company the pants are awesome.
Thanks for increasing my knowledge @ufpro
You're welcome. Thank you for watching. 👊🏻
The anime enthusiast is back with another tutorial that I will never need in my life
a tutorial that you HOPE you will never need in your life :)
I use a technique using thumbs to put pressure on the jugular vein. It puts the person out. I have used it to reset the heart for tachycardia. It could be used to set a broken arm or flush a wound. In just a minute or two be ready to move on. I would instruct you in how to do it if you would like.
I swear he is my favorite person alive 😁
Is this Mark Randall in the Ozarks? Roby event man?
I make sure to have ibuprofen as well just for regular days with my kit on since I've got bad knees if the pain is worse than usual
Πολύ καλό!!!
the location is very nice
Saw the notification, and whereas i cant watch now because i'm studying i'll save it for later
You are the Best I love You Guys , how you act , how you handle , how you explain so Clear . Lord Jesus Bless You !
I read your book Luka 💪
great
"Used to holding small things"? Ill have you know a 7 inch handgaurd is completely normal for being in my hands... 😏
Please make a review about how to pack a operator Survival kit
Burn dressing and splint materials are also pretty important in an IFAK
But not to just Safe your life. You won’t die with a broken arm. You probably won’t die, if you burn yourself.
But you will die if you loose Blood, if you can’t breathe and if it’s too cold. That’s why it is called TCCC Essentials.
Yes but at a certain point bulk dose start becoming a problem
We were taking on three wounded plus the Army was doing nothing about it but when it came to the Navy they did something about it they went over The Chukanov: Tango from Block, ie Wall $$Pipes...and they caught us out of there
rewatching it after a while well, ~7 months later and I just got the joke by luka 1:33 got me laughing not gonna lie
The forest Gump bit is fuckin awesome.
What are ACD ATTACHED TO THE CHEST BANDAGES
what bag is that?
What is a cry kit?
The Doctor knows all the military jokes in the world😂
What's a cric kit?
Bro fuken O gentlemen 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙🤙 great video
🤙
Smelling salts are also good to have.
I get dizzy when I see blood!
Lol "I know you're use to having small things in your hands" dead 😂
Btw when are you guys gonna be able to ship to Puerto Rico? I really want some of your gear... ohh and do you ship Luka? He would make a good husband for my sister 😂
🙏🙏🙏👍
Why no TPAK or any other decompression-needle? Is it because its just needed in the actual medicbag from the teammedic?
They were taped to the chest seals
Love my scissors for scissoring.
What kind of ifak is that
대량출혈
기도유지,호흡,순환기능유지,저체온증 처치
전술상황하 모두 처치가능한 훌륭한 킷이다
우리나라에 납품되길
Is he the same guy as the medic?
When you showed the chest seals you said "Ncds". What are ncds???
Needle Chest Decompression
When he said TCCC (T triple C), I misheard it as "Tea tree pussy" 🤣
My brother cut his hand open bad now I’m on a burn watching medical stuff
No Israeli bandage in the IFAK?
4:09 🤣
What kind of topics do you investiga te before you're going to foreign soil?
Everything dude, from local resources to what critters they have running around. Lots of things in the jungle sting you and bite you.
Luka is Luke Skywalker with wider shoulders :D
No one going to talk about the "Anime Enthusiast part at the start" no?
👌🇨🇱
you guys should partner up with Warrior Poet Society Network. you both put out great content. WPSN is an American network for so much stuff you do without relying on RUclips
Who knows. Maybe one day.
Look into them, you guys are both on the level
Wow cool and literally first 🥇
What he does best isn´t combat medicine but jokes his Combat Medic essentials were so funny
I thought scissors were for cutting, but well...
Wrong. Scissors are obviously for scissoring. 🧐
@@ufprogear That's a hell of a distraction when handling care, but we can manage
My only problem with this video is you said Google...never rely on liars
I concur. Along with all the other mainstream platforms
1 thing you didn't mention, Tampons! I can't believe no one ever thinks of the one item that is absolutely great at plugging bloody holes!
Absolutely not...Use Celox Gauze and a CAT-T
@@TheDegraderReturns Have you ever used one? Cost of Celox Gauze $42.95 (Amazon), cost of CAT-T $58,95(Ebay, both for just one), cost of Tampons A box containing 36 tampons costs $7 at Walgreens..... Don't tell me they don't work. I've used them in Fire/EMS and they may not stop bleeding completely, but they do allow the blood to slow and they give the person bleeding enough time to allow their blood to coagulate on its own. I'll let you go ahead and waste your money on buying that expensive stuff. I'd at least be nice enough to tell a medic to not waste anything on me and just stick a Tampon in it and let it go. At least I will still have a chance to make it alive to a hospital where sutures would be a preferred method of stopping a Bleed. Adding any amount of time is better than nothing and when you're limited on supplies, or supplies are too expensive, you have OTHER options.
@@thebestofj.fraley I'd rather go for Best care than Cheap options...Maybe that's just the UK in me.
@@TheDegraderReturns Well, some people don't want to spend $199 for a one time use Z-PAC, which I've seen advertised for some IFAK's on someone else who is wounded. The prices I quoted were off of Amazon and Ebay. I saw another add on the same search page that was advertising an IFAK with 1 Z-PAC for $199.00. If I bought one, and 7 guys in my unit were shot just once each, and I used my ONE good Z-PAC on one of them, 6 other guys might bleed to death before an Ambulance arrives. If I spend $7.00 at Walgreens for a box of 36 Tampons, I might be able to save hopefully at least 75% of my men and give them a fighting chance. Go ahead and spend your money on whatever you want, thats not what I'm saying, I'm just saying I don't care what those so called experts say, I know they work. Experts will say anything a company pays them to say for advertising and they'll do it for kickbacks. Nothing in business is done for free so remember this. I've used them, and I've saved lives with them.
You're not you when you're hungry. Eat a chocolate. Doctor's orders.
My boyfriend was offended by the “small things in your hand” comment
For scissoring.....oh boy
Life is like a box of chocolates... comedy gold
Google for my information? Google said men can get pregnant ?
2:23 😳 I don't think appropriate in a combat situation...
Mission dictates gear.
" Last but not least, scissors..for scissoring. " Said with straight face, because Russia.
*because Slovenia ;)
you can throw some of those things away after touching that ground
pretty sure they wont let you in Valhalla if you're all bandaged up 😎
I know you’re used to having small things in your hand. Deal with it.
