Cardinals weren’t even supposed to be in the the postseason that year, and they won it all. Guys like Allen Craig and Nick Punto are names that will be forgotten, but they were huge pieces to that puzzle! Great series between two great teams!

This series was Joe Buck at his absolute worst. He called Elvis diving flip DP turn up the middle to save a run in the world series with the same enthusiasm as a routine fly out between to last place teams

Great game, unwatchable even in highlight clip form because of fox executives thinking joe buck and tim mccarver can cover baseball. Anyone who doesnt think mccarver is a joke, listen to his call of the phillies clinching over the astros in 80. Case closed. I hear pure hatred, disdain, in every word coning from buck's mouth. What does good MLB playoff commentary sound like? Al Michaels.
