joe-and-zach-s...
The first snowfall hit and packed a punch, 8 to 10 inches of wet fresh snow has downed trees. It is a very beautiful sight to see but many trees needed to be cleared to be able to drive around. A very busy day. The power went out so the Tent went off grid for awhile.
Floridian here and this is unbelievable. Absolutely, beautiful.
I love winter snow storm videos at the cabin. Can't wait for more!
I really love this. My parents inherited a log cabin on a 1/4 acre in Bragg Creek, Alberta, Canada, in 1971. Built in 1939. Old wood burning stove and very rustic. We loved "roughing" it there in the summer. In 1991 they built a home behind the cabin and retired. In the winter months, the area looked just like your video. We had sleigh rides with our children and enjoyed many years of "a different way of life". Sadly, it was sold and my parents have passed away. Bragg Creek is not the same as in the 70's. Too many tourists and crowded. Thank you for bringing back many memories of the past.
Joe, the picture of you shoveling snow off the porch is one of my all time favorites. I love this video, Joe! ❤
YOU TRULY ARE LIVING THE DREAM COULD NOT GET CLOSE TO THIS IN THE UK I AM SO ENVIOUS

I live in Thailand. No have snow in my country. I like to see video about snow so much.
Thanks for your beautiful video.
I like snows.
Stay in Thailand. Never go to where there is snow. It can kill you by making you freeze to death. It's gay.
go to the snow country for the experience, you'll love it CRhome LovePubg
Even though I am tired of the snow and ready for spring, I can never get tired of how gorgeous a thick heavy icy fresh snow covering in the woods is. Beautiful
I love that tent and the snow you are so lucky. Hope you stay safe and have a good time
Love the snow!!!! Beautiful!!! Ideal place to enjoy it.
How beautiful and blissful that looks!! That’s the life. Thanks for sharing. ❄️❄️❄️

REALLY enjoyed watching your adventure! That was way better then any bedtime story.. THANK YOU for posting this.
Fantastic Joe! Thankyou for this stunning film!
So beautiful. Reminds me of a day in November back in 1974 when I was bow hunting for deer. It snowed during the night and we woke up to 8 inches on the tent and everywhere else. Trees hanging over the road and the trails. So beautiful. Trail mix is a staple on the deer stand. Yours looks good. Salty and savory with the M&M's and jerky. Ate a lot of bannock back in those days too. Lots of butter and honey! Great videos Joe!!!
Normally I do not comment, but had to say in this video....WOW, you worked your butt off clearing roads! So sorry about windshield!! Really enjoy the quiet pleasure of watching your routine when you come to the "tent", thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the nice comment Mary. I will be back up there the weekend of May 12th, hopefully the snow will be gone by then. Thanks again. Joe
The snowy trees look like a Thomas Kincade painting. Beautiful.
Good to see the Coleman oven out and in use. That’s how I found your channel originally, searching Coleman camp oven recipes.
You were very kind to all those trees you shook clean and saved...you are a good man...

Beautiful landscape. I love the first snow.
There's something satisfying seeing you tug those trees and they go straighten up
Great show & awesome video 👍:)
So beautiful. I haven't seen snow for 5 years. Sometimes i miss the snow and my home town as well. Thank u for brings back memories
Wow!, I didnt even know lockout hubs were an option anymore!!! All my older 4x4 trucks had lockouts to save fuel!!! Thats awesome!!!
I didnt either until I bought the 1 ton diesel. I have not had them in years.
I sure miss them, my newer truck doesn't have them and I'm lucky to get 8 mpg downhill with the wind pushing me, lol, sorry about the windshield Joe.
oh my, just stumbled on your video. what an awesome spot, very nice, but you have to come prepared. Sad about your winshield, had this happen to my car too at -20C. When i drove slowly, the heater at the inside and the cold outside just made to much stress on the window, same spot, same size crack. It gave a loud bang! Going to watch more of your video's. Awesome!
It looks cozy! Very interesting.
Always good to have a back up plan !!! Bravo
WOW That sure is a lot of snow .. And poor Joe all those trees to cut .. Not to mention the cracked windshield .. Enjoy all your videos .. Keep up the great work ..Mark..
thats not a lot. a lot of snow is when you cant even drive in it with out getting stuck
Really beautiful country from here in a warm cozy place. I thank you for sharing this experience with me and others here.
Great job and great life adventures to you.

This video got my attention love the way snow looks even your voice is pleasent to hear. I'm following you now 😊
I’m a city girl, (Chicago to be exact), I don’t hunt, fish, even like summer time.... but I’ve watched hours of your amazing footage - it’s made me think I could possibly at the very least enjoy the winter wilderness as much as I love my city in the winter. Thanks to you all!!
this video reminds me of where I used to live in colorado. My 36 year old husband had passed away and I was raising young boys on my own. We got snowed in every winter and heated our cabin with a wood burning stove. Hard work.
Nice
......nice
@@TomTomTom87 my dream..
That’s so cool my dream of a life
colorado is so beautiful. i looked into buying a place to build a cabin. the people warned me not too. the liberal govt is after all so called off gridders and passed laws where you have to be hooked up to utilies. you can't buy a wood stove anymore and your neighbor has to be an illegal allien from mexico. the locals saw it coming and warned me.colorado is the last state i would live in now. so sad
The scenery while you was driving was absolutely gorgeous! I love it.
you from .....my watsap nmbr...03359961836

Oh boy, watching you drive through those trees full of snow was the most magical thing I've seen. Just stunning. Hi from the UK
You sure do have a beautiful run up there. I love watching you de-snow the trees. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Thank you Kent. I hope you are watching on this channel and on the "Northern Seclusion" channel. I have been putting a lot of videos up to help keep people occupied. Thanks again.
All men who think being dirty and unorganized is manly, need to watch this video. I'm tired of men making excuses. Joe is as manly as they come, clean and organised. Thank you Joe.
Shut your pie hole.
@@richardjohnson8197 Very articulate. Touched a nerve did she?
Really wish I could live somewhere like Minnesota. Every now and then I go through many of your cozy autumn/winter videos and it just calms me down and makes me happy. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. :)
I love your "tent", very well organized and cozy! Actually the whole video is incredibly cozy, including your Ford truck (I'm a Ford guy myself) Thank you!

C Jacob, oh my gosh, right? I'm in Corona...right where the first Canyon Fire was about a month ago. I sooo miss the snow, the seasons, looking forward to fall, etc. :-( lol
Thank you for taking us on your journey, that is so generous of you. Be blessed
That's what I call cosy. Peaceful and my inner me would love a home like that. I admire your hard work.
Hey Joe. For what it is worth , My camp in Vt. started out with gas lights 30 years ago and then I put in solar which works pretty good. This year I changed all the lighting over to LED and you cant believe the difference. Can send pictures if you like and always remember to listen to Dad and never go into the back country without a chain saw. Season opens up here on the 10th and my boys are coming------good hunting. Russ
Dads' voices ring on in our heads even long after they are gone! Thankfully that keeps them close.
How well do the solar panels work with a canopy of trees? Also with only 1-2 days of sunlight in fall/winter as we get here in the upper midwest?
russvtguy
wow....amazing...first time seeing how clearing the snow make the branches spring back...
I absolutely love the SNOOWWW and you make me feel that I am right there with you. Thank you so much for your video!

So awesome watching you shake the snow off those trees and them standing right back up!!! Very cool!!!
I live in New Hampshire and I love being all hunkered down when the snow flies, but i worry about members of my family being out on the road. I love how you have all your provisions covered.

OMG when I say BEAUTIFUL😍😍😍! It's makes my heart exhale to see the scenery since I've always lived in MS all of my life and have only seen weather like this twice in my 35yrs
You need to head north a day and a half drive next winter to see some snow. Thank you.
@@JoeandZachSurvival I would have years ago since I love this type of weather but I take care of my mother and if she doesn't go then I don't 🤷♀️ but I will one day. I've promised myself.

You're my Sunday television. Great video, keep them coming.
Would love 1 bedroom wall with a mural of the scenery on it. Quite and beautiful so peaceful looking.
Amazing healthy job :)
I have said it before, I will say it again. You are so lucky to have such a great place! Despite the difficulty it causes, the snow is beautiful! Hope you have a successful hunting season! I would have a hard time not wanting to live there full time year round! But eventually we all have to go back to the real world! ;)
Love it. Have fun joe
Loving this semi-live series at the tent. Thanks for taking us along :) Looking forward to the rest of the tent videos and the deer hunt.

O for the simplicity of Life. Absolutely blessed
There is no point in being uncomfortable. Glad to see your roughing it includes amenities.
Loved watching that winter wonderland. Thank you.
Hey Joe! That's about as frustrated as I've heard you get in years of videos! I certainly understand. I get frustrated shoveling my 40 foot driveway. haha Anyway, a power outage is always a good way to test preparedness, it's no surprise that you barely noticed. Cheers!
