My coach insists I need to be able to get my swing direction at impact to be already coming inside even for a draw with irons. Im having difficulties with the club still moving left at impact (im a left handed golfer so as righty would be moving right) when it should be moving to the right and Im not able to do it without feeling like I need to manipulate my swing a lot for it. Any tips to do it correctly If I really need it to improve? 5 hcp
Hey! Can you determine swing direction if you know AoA and club path? A swing direction of zero would be ideal for a standard draw vs how some people try to zero out path and leaves no room for face to path? Thx
Sorry for the delay, but yes. If your low point is in the right place, a zero'd out swing direction on a solid hit would mean that the path was inside out and the AoA was negative a bit. There's your nice draw on a center hit.
Love Martin Chuck and his entire staff of Coaches - Best in Class!
