Thasigan Pillay there are two ways really. You can VO Code back to original specs or you can load the backup. Honestly, the backup is the long way but it saves all the features you coded. Well, lets say you want to return ECU to factory Coding. Which method is easier? VO Code: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click on ECU => Select CODE. Restore .NCD: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click ECU CAFD File => Select New FDL => Navigate to C:\ESysData\CAF and select matching .NCD file => Left-Click on Inserted CAFD => Select FDL Code.

Hi Rich, great video! My instrument cluster on my x5 E 70 has some blown pixels. I bought another instrument cluster on eBay and installed it. Milage read the same and everything seems to work however it’s generated several fault codes that had to do with drive systems but everything still worked properly(When I put the first scanner on it it seemed to do with the kombi system). I read online that I should have to code in the vin number in the new replacement cluster. Very difficult to find anybody that explains, especially as good as you just did, how to do this, are you aware of the process?
Quick question. My 2014 328i has blind spot monitors that only activate over 50km/h. The newer versions LCI versions activate at 20km/h. BMW Australia tell me there is no software upgrade, but surely we can upgrade this to activate at a slower speed.
