Imagine her strength to still sing after her illness. Not only that, she toured with Roxette as a true survivor! Marie was a one of a kind, and I cried like a damn child several times watching this. Her Swedish work is so touching (I'm Swedish so understand the lyrics)
Im from Norway and i think Marie Fredriksson was and stil will be the best female artist ever in my eyes, i realy miss her so unbelievble much im so glad i could experience Marie and Roxette in my lifetime, God bless her and her family may she rest in peace ❤😢

It`s so so sad to see this beautifull person suffer from this god damn cancer....when she start singing it must have been love....goosebump....reminds me of so many many lovely hours of my youth....thank you so much for this. the "but it`s over now" make me so sad.....everything is comming to an end....why do we all have to get older?!!!!!! :-(
As you must know Marie wasn't deteriorated by the age( She is just 60 years old) it is because of the brain cancer that she suffered back in 2002, which made her start all over again and after the years she is getting weaker as a consequence of that terrible disease. I believe in karma and Marie deserves a long and healthy life. God bless Miss Fredriksson.

In the opening monologue the host tells the story how Marie pre-fame competed in a talent show in Kos, Greece, singing "Proud Mary", losing to three Swedish tourists doing the "Baloon dance". Then the host concludes with: "But in hindsight we can tell that things went fine for her anyway. Here is Marie Fredriksson!"

Heartbreaking to see how the radiation & cancer ravaged her health but she rocked on as long as she could. She sings with angels now.
