RTF - Leg of lamb/ roast lamb / Alternative xmas dinner recipe (with gravy!)

Leg of lamb
Lamb marinade;
4 tsp salt
3 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp mixed herbs
2 tbsp vinegar
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
1 cup live yogurt
1 x leg of lamb
Roasting tray:
You can use any veg in the bottom of your tray, I only had a handful of potatoes left so I added them, along with:
5-6 spring onions
1 large medium onion sliced in half
1 bulb of garlic sliced in half
Thumb sized piece of ginger &
Fresh Rosemary
Root veg would work great in the bottom of the tray!
Gravy:
I used bisto gravy granules and followed the measurements on the packaging for granules to water ratio and reduced it alongside the juices from the roasting tin until it was at a lusciously thick consistency. The gravy from this is the BEST!
