I think these are just money making by companies , I have a very good reverb on my AER amp so why would I need another ? Tommy Emmanuel doesn’t use extra sound altering peddles so why should I??

That looks like a good one-stop set up for acoustic players. I'm using a Venue DI, which I love, and have a Strymon Blue Sky going through the FX loop and that works great too. I never use a compressor. Yes, every player needs an active DI. I take it the Venue DI and that DI there would have similar kinds of tone. The beauty of the Venue DI is that you get the sweepable EQ and notch filter and mute/boost all in the one unit. They also already do a Session DI pedal, do they not? Is that the one that's been around for a while that's on your pedal board, or is it a different one?
There is a different session DI out there it can be confusing because the session in the Align Series is a compressor and the Session Acoustic DI is just what it sounds like (a basic DI). This is at least how I understand it :-)
I just ordered the Session Comp/saturation, Reverb, Chorus and Delay pedals. I love my Para DI so I’m sticking with that. Just received today from Sweetwater music so haven’t hooked up yet. I hope I’m as satisfied with the Comp/Saturation pedal as I am with my TC Bodyrez.
Currently I’m using a Fishman ToneDEQ with a TC Electronics BodyRez. I’ve used the Fishman Spectrum Aura DI, the LR Baggs Venue DI, and the Trace Elliott Transit A Acoustic Preamp pedal... I’m still not quite sure what I’m looking for and was wondering if I’m just chasing my tail here. Do these pedals really have anything much more than I have (have already had) that would justify my trying them out? Seems a $250-$300 pedal that encompasses everything (like Baggs’ Venue?) would be more economical than 5 Baggs’ pedals at near-$179 each...? (Now they have a Delay pedal, too). Can you help, Tony??

I just got the reverb and I'm kind of disappointed make a lot of noise anybody experience this?? when I put it in front of my venue di seems better but .....
how do they compare to BOSS VE-8 pedal? I feel Boss ve8 is a simpler and more compact solution than all these separate pedals. any thoughts? or anyone compared between them ?
Jim Guo So I borrowed my friend’s Boss VE-8 and did a little A/B comparison a few weeks ago, after I bought a few of these Baggs pedals...The VE-8 lost that contest in just about every category I can think of (aesthetics, ease of use, etc)... Tone wise, I thought the Boss set up sounded a bit canned where the Align Reverb is just versatile as hell; the tone knob sweeping between warm and dark to bright, you can get a real subtle reverb out of it pretty easily and the VE-8 just seemed artificial sounding, for lack of a better term. The Session peddle is bad ass and has no comparable function on the Boss unit, as it seems to make the acoustic sound like it was microphones as opposed to plugged in. Now that I have used that Session unit, I don’t want to ever play plugged in without it.
@@setsailsparrow9063 Hi! I’ve got no problems with the Reverb pedal anymore 😃, The culprit was the Amp/PA system I was using, try using it on different amps or interface or changing your cables.
@@VirtusLenon well that’s a problem to me I ain’t going to buy a different p/a because the baggs is not up to point what happens when you gig ?? Can’t ask every place to change their rig because the baggs pedal didn’t like the p/a 😂😂 is it me or this make no sense like I said the only way I found was to put it in front of the DI instead of last in the chain but I just hope it will sound good in a live setting
Get a RADIAL DI, as every professional, and it costs even half if the price of the Baggs! Same for reverb. The only valuable pedal is the EQ because it has got a Notch control working fine. This guy has no clue on what is worth getting for an acousting gigging. First time I see a review with pedals hidden behind books and the reviewer acting with a pen and a sheet of paper. Why not just use the Venue plus the reverb? Less real-estate, less signal path disruption, less power, and more functionality.

Yes but when you engage the peddles it make your guitar sound like a false acoustic??
If using a Taylor with the ES2 system is it safe to say I don't need the active DI? (I hope you say yes to save me another £200 :p)

Would I benefit from the active DI if I plug my guitar into a Fishman Solo amp?
If you are using an amp the active DI isn't really necessary since the front end of your amp will boost your signal :-)

Advantage of LR Reverb versus reverb pedals used by electric guitarists?
None. And it costs twice as much as an Hall Of Fame which does much better and eventually it's stereo.
