Omg this is gonna sound stupid but since I am one of few to drive a Renault in the u.s even tho it’s similar to Nissan engines I could not locate the trans dip stick do to the fact that the cover is so unrecognizable compared to American engines.. thanx for the vid bud

That black container is an engine oil sump, not the gearbox transmission box ?? !! ??

At mileage are you required to change the CVT oil?
Around 70-80k
50k maximum ignore the 100k recommended by Renault it will kill the cvt transmission . a cvt should last 200k if serviced at 50k intervals. some do it at 30k especially if they are towing or driving a vehicle over 2 litres, cvts are designed for small engined vehicles but for some reason they started fitting them to big engined cars increasing the need for more regular trans fluid changes.

You changed only half of oil. Rest of it comes out only by flushing.
What is the transmission fluid you used.? Where you located?
Penrite CVTV brother is a good quality oil and lasts longerr than other brand oils
I've wanted to do this to my 15 year old renault master Van, Because the gear's are crunching when I shift into 3th gear, from 2nd to 3rd , or from 4th to 3th gear. would this improve it? it's not to bad but I have to be really careful when changing the gears. it's just a normal manual gearbox though with 6 speeds.
It's not a good sign. You need a gearbox flush. Get your car checked by a professional as it can damage the gearbox if you keep like that
You have to change the filter and cooler filter and clean the magnetic inside

You can not. You need to flush the fluid to change.

It shares the same engine and transmission with some models from Nissan? Is it?
the Renault Koleos share the engine and transmission with Nissan X-trail 2007-2014 , Nissan Rogue 2007-2014 and they are the same platform, also share tie rods, arms etc..., the CVT tramsmission for automatic models are jf011e.

Hi I need change oil enginer and filter you can help ? Renault koleos
Its intuitive. Tools. Drain pan, rag, socket, ramps or crawl underneath. Open bonnet, remove filler cap, dipstick, crawl underneath position drain pan, remove drain plug. Drain oil. Visually loocate and remove remove filter by turning counter-clockwise. Allow both to drain for 5 minutes more. Clean lip of filter mount, apply smear of clean oil to filter seal and screw on. Don't overtighten. Refit drain plug. Torque to spec. Fill with correct volume of oil for filter and oil change from top. Refit dipstick. Check oil level withing hi-lo range. Start engine. Confirm oil warning light off. Check visually for leaks. All good, job done. Remove vehicle from ramps. Sometime later after oil settles, from a level parked position check oil level. Top up if necessary.
