It's a statement of how the creativity of a true musician doesn't end with the band they made a name for themselves in. The drive for them to continue to make music will likely always be there. Many former members of bands have had quite successful careers moving forward, yes. But I commented on the members and the lyrical nature of this song in particular. These are four guys who aren't in big bands anymore (and all of this occurred fairly recently), and the content of the song reflects that they're not going anywhere. Stupid reply.
