Big thanks to HGC for inviting me to be a part of this tourney! I didn't wanna ban Furina since it is her patch after all, but she was just too strong this abyss that I had to cut down the options as much as I could 😔 This was still lots of fun and hope you guys enjoyed it too! :)

The Venti plays were immaculate. Being able to infuse the Hydro on Venti is easier said than done in this abyss

The reason they kept holding the Lisa E is because it is the only part of her kit that generates energy. Her tap E does not generate particles, and the whole generates five particles. It also applies 3U of electro, so it instantly removes any Pyro aura Bennett can apply.
The Lumine guy was GENIUS
This really needs to be an end game gamemode. It looks so fun and competitive

@@jurasikd Yes but I think there should be thresholds for the amount of constellations and 5* weapons like how spreed runners do. 4* teams/characters will increase in value a lot in such a mode.

As long as the rewards are not primos.
Cancelling constellations in end game pvp mode would balance. Weapon choice idk.
Lisa actually lowers enemy DEF by 15% when hit by her Burst so she was pretty good support for that alhaithem to hyper carry
That Venti burst infused with hydro and Dori steal so Alhaitham don't have a electro healer is such a chad move oml i luv it

oh bummer i saw this for the first time and was excited to check more but there was too little videos :(
Book trick has some other uses apart from energy:
Some timers like ICD on enemies and character switching cost continue to tick while the game is in stasis from the book. This means that, as in the gameplay against ASIMON with Bennet, you can not only get energy but instantly switch characters again whilst resetting some of the ICD on the boss.
Other timers like the abyss timer are genuinely paused. I am not sure how the team evaluates time, but I would certainly include "book times" as well.
I wouldn't. Because what's the point of including it once everyone uses it? How fast someone opens and closes the book?
God, that Alhaitham gameplay was so clean. I almost want to try it myself.
Yeah man I struggle to keep 3 mirrors 4 times and he was keeping 3 mirrors for 6 times 🥲
@@tofayelahmed3966 You have to burst, normal attack until two mirrors have shot out, skill, normal attack until two mirrors have shot out again, charge attack after that 4th spray and attack until you lose the 3 mirrors. If you skill plunge after burst, that's why you don't get 3 mirrors for very long.

It was a really fun episode. I liked both team’s picks. Also was nice to see Fischl and Beidou who doesn’t gets picked as much in these competitions.

You're currently the only genshin content creator posting this pvp championship mode up to date, do more than 1 competition for each abyss and people will come more often because it's fun as hell!

I'd like to add, the book technique is used to catch the free particles instantly to the on field character, so that they can have their energy while efficiently switching between the characters.

I didn't know what to expect of the outcome looking at the teams but that's why it was so exciting to watch.
Sad to see Furina banned, normally you block the banner units from being banned and allow both sides to pick them if I'm not mistaken. Still a fun competition with some whacky team comps though, and well played and casted!

this is my first time seeing a competitive scene from genshin and its awesome to watch! why didn't i know of this sooner...
thats a really good idea to turn abyss into a competitive mod with a draft scenario. It was really enjoyable
1:34 just being a pendant here but theres at least 3 characters who mess with HP before fontaine! xiao was actually the first character to play with HP (he drains his over time) hu tao came after! kuki also sacrifices HP whenever she heals (probably the closest to fontaines mechanics)
some other pendanty things: furina’s burst doesnt heal, only her skill. beidou barely if ever triggers hyperbloom (her burst doesnt hit seeds which is her biggest source of electro app, only her skill would)

personal opinion but lisa is actually not unheard of in competitions? she has a def shred which is hella rare
20:23 holding lisa’s E is how she generates energy! her tap e doesnt generate anything (aside from things like fav proc)
the commentators are lovely but missing some of the finer points especially for off meta characters (xiao/beidou/lisa). no hate intended just like ensuring accuracy!

Interesting concept, can't believe I only knew about it today. I think using the book should have their clock continue ticking while paused. That way, it'll be a strat worth learning for energy wise but having a drawback through the time loss/spent while booked.

Probably the first ever genshin championship where the players actually had a proper clear and not 2 star bullshit, congrats on finally contacting decent players
this really needs to make it into endgame. Imagine pvp in-game in the same format! Floor 12 or similar in pvp would be incredible!
It sounds good in theory but then you realise there are mega-whales and Leviathans that play the game as well. It really wouldn't be fair for any f2p to go against all C6r5 chars.

The other thing to note about Lisa's skill, is that you *must* do the hold to generate energy.
