I have this and the Parfum version. The Parfum is an amazing fragrance. It’s my signature fragrance and a 10/10 if you’re looking for a leathery, masculine, strong, and distinctive scent. The Pour Homme is similar but clearly lighter. I would give that a 8/10.
Hi Steven, thank you for reviewing this one! I don't like this one either but I love the women version, the one you bought for your mom, there is a wonderful high class leather note in the juice. This scent truly represents the Bottega Veneta Company which makes expensive hand bags. I hope your mom loves it!
Very concise review Steven. I acquired this juice via a swap and this conjures up a real 80s vibe and smells a lot like Halston Z-14, I really like the smell.
@@Redolessence Yes Indeed! You should really revisit this one again and see if your tastes have changed... This fragrance is now becoming hard to get a hold of and once it's discontinued, it will then really get the appreciation it deserves I feel. Thanks for responding!
Great review! Unfortunately, this scent does not work on my skin. I had high hopes, but when I tried it I absolutely loathed it. Have not touched it since, luckily it was a sample.
I had to come around to it (2-3 sampling) but about to order a 100ml bottle. I wonder if some 9-10 years later you revisited this one, would you score/rate it the same? For me 7.5-8 out of 10 (mainly lack of versatility keeps it from higher score).
The pine Bulberry London smelled like pine sol to me even though women I asked while I was wearing it said it smelled good. So I will also be giving this a pass. Thanks for the review
Really harsh on the comment for this one. Similar to ur opinion, I probably give this a 5 out of 10. This fragrance is way too average, though it is not a bad one.
A step up from Hugo extreme, but just an average joe scent to me! I would rather have a 10ml decant of creed spice and wood, than a full bottle of both!
Are u a final fantasy fan have you seen final fantasy advent children movie a must for anyone who loves final fantasy 7.my favourite rpg of all time and the movie is special when has a movie been used to carry on a story instead of copying the game that's special about advent children
"Who am I to say a fragrance is good or bad." Well, by definition you are Stephen...you're the fragrance reviewer who is grading and/or ranking each fragrance both objectively and subjectively.(lol) Come on...we all know you want to say, "This fragrance sucks hind-teat and the perfumers need to be strung-up by their short-hairs for concocting this concoction. (lol) Anyway, your review is timely because I have actually been taking a look at this fragrances because I am suddenly infatuated with the notes of pine and fir. Go figure! Overall the reviews (Fragrantica) are pretty good, but the more learned noses (the ones whom I trust) are not on-board with Bottega Veneta Pour Homme. My next question is who how does Pour Homme compare to the Extreme version? I'm with you on Juniper Berries. I mostly dislike the scent (Vince Camuto Homme and Prada Luna Rossa Extreme are two examples) but occasionally the perfumer strikes a favorable accord when done right as with Original Santal, Individuel and even Alfred Sung Homme to a lesser extent. I've seen this one compared to L'Occitane Cade/Eau de Cade, another juniper intensive fragrances. I tried Eau de Cade back in the Summer/Fall. It was decent fragrances...just nothing that captures my attention...just okay. You're much more tactful than I. And people wonder why I refuse to review fragrances. As Col. Jessup once stated, "You can't handle the trust!" Now, aint' that trust. :D

That is my absolute favorite. Love the leathery scent
This cologne is great! It smells very unique. Very elegant, yet fresh, if you know what I mean.

Bottega Veneta pour homme and intense are 2 of my all time lesser known favorites.
A very good fragrance that smells really good

How long does it last on your skin and when do you wear this?

Those little screws on the bottle are called Chicago screws :p they're used for leather alot! And great fragrance review, your my fav reviewer :p
Hi Steven - I agree with you. I wanted to like this but the harsh leather/pine combo just did not work for me.

They had testers at lord n Taylor going out of business for 40 and never heard of it. Still don't know if it's worth it lol
Haha. I'm not a huge fan of it. Thanks for stopping by!

Not that I'm aware of.
