As prior military, I believe these guys did a good job demonstrating the ability to shoot, move and communicate with this body armor. It is difficult to maneuver in. Anyone who wants to throw out negativity, just go ahead and post your video of you doing better.
We also don’t get paid or teach classes. They should be held to a higher standard. This demonstration of their rifle and movement skills was terrible for “professional instructors”.
I get much better training as a civilian defender than I ever had as an infantry soldier. If I were in AZ today, I would love to train with youse guys.
Yea these dudes are horrible instructors. The fact they apparently teach this shit yet can barely run it them selves smoothly says a lot about their “classes”.
really no one's gonna say anything about how the guy in black covered the other with the muzzle of his rifle while flipping it over his sholder? Wasn't very smart move on dudes part. why did he even do that?
Your gear looks and seems excellent, BUT I'm still Leary of buying body armor off the net and having it fit well. Sad thing is I'm 66 not in the shape you guys are in. I finding that running and gunning anymore is not in my future though I shoot regularly and play compete.............. I don't believe armor is in my future.
Are any of these guys prior service because there very sloppy they got up very slow when bounding and the guy in the black throwing his AR on his back like he literally flagged the shit out of his battle buddy
After watching them run this drill. I don’t think we would want them too. These apparent “instructors” can barely run their own drill. They stumble like weekend warriors/first time students taking a class.
I'm a 6'4" tall and proportionately wider guy and have been looking for body armor. It appears that Johns plate is too small to provide protection to his lungs (sides of the plate) and spleen (lower left of plate) that contains a lot of blood. It looks too narrow and too short. In the abdominal cavity, you have the Aorta, inferior vena cava and many of their branches. I'm a firefighter/ medic that has dealt with gun shot wounds first hand. People die from a lot more than just shots to the heart and head. When watching youtube, I'm often baffled to see many people inadequately shielded. It appears that most are just shielding their hearts. A lot can go wrong from gun shot wounds to the surrounding areas around these tiny plates. I know that you gotta be mobile, but don't they make wider and taller plates to shield better? I measured out that a plate should be 15"-16" wide (hopefully curved) to adequately shield my lungs from a head on (or rear) shot. 17" tall would adequately cover the height (clavicle down to the navel). I do have taller than usual lungs. I don't plan on doing soldier boy routines... just home defense, so protection trumps mobility for me. Any thoughts on larger plates?
is a good tactic and moves, the real deal is, when the other side is shooting at you, lets see if you can move so freely, but still good information to know
+Khaleb Zelaya They were primarily doing this to see if their gear was set up correctly for shooting and moving about. Obviously in a real life firefight you want to stay behind cover as much as possible.

Its raining in AZ! But dont worrry, its a "dry rain".
Homeboy slinging his rifle over his back would've scared the shit outta me if I were that cameraman.
I'm up, he sees me, I'm still up... Still up... Still up... Still up... Still up... Okay, now I'm down.
3-5 seconds turned into, "give me a minute to catch my breath" and no cover?

🤣
Awsome videos guys ! Much help you covered just about everything
Too bad gimbals weren't a thing back then.
Nice day to go and shoot.
Speed demon nice work guys 🐆

+Dustin Duncan I was going to say, as soon as I saw that, it made me cringe >o
yeah, I cringed watching that too
Not even close. But I agree it was unnecessary.
same...
Me too. Saw that and, feared and accident could of happened. Thank God it didn’t...
What IFAK are you wearing at your 6 o'clock position? Also, what is your opinion of it, and will you end up posting a video review?
If you attend a class that teaches 2 to the chest and 1 to the head look elsewhere for better training

+H Smith Don't be so hard on yourself man! Doing stuff like this is mostly about motivation. I've seen people much older than you run marathons! :)
@@crazyfvck.Thanks. I've decide to take a training course next year wether i'm th tastes or the slowest or the slowest, just learn.
H Smith Have you considered soft armor? Vests usually hover around 5lbs. Also there are (usually pricey) UHMWPE rifle plates around 3lbs each.
Maybe you should get some just for home defense.

Are y'all gonna do anymore vids with Independence Training?

AviatorGM That’s how I got here. I still can’t find anything larger than 11x14!
I've often wondered this as well. Hmmm...
It's a conspiracy to get rid of the giant freaks. LoL
Mobility is protection.
Good message guys.
what scope are they running
Could had more communication.
When do I need side plates
Lol
nice - variable round counts and shooting position exercises. smooth and efficient. thank you guys.
This 5 part series was Very informational I've watched it and tried to copy everything thank you.
Antifa doesn’t stand a chance!
