Thank you Susan I haven't tried making them with sour dough. Making a sourdough loaf right now with lots of olives and some of my dried ground chillies in it .

Great recipe. I will be making them. I am looking for a red Nesting Bowl just like yours. It is what I need to complete my set. lol . My grandmother taught me to use a long piece of thread and slide it under the dough. Pull both ends of thread up and cross them, It works with out smashing the dough. Thanks for the recipe.

I have these baking right now. I put the rolled dough on a sheet of paper and allowed it to rest in the refrigerator while I made the filling. It was much easier to handle. Great smell in the kitchen.

So delicious I love the texture and taste, I especially love the ease of it all coming together with no need to rise. By far the best cinnamon rolls I have ever made. I added some nutmeg and a dash of pumpkin pie spice to the filling. Don’t skip the freezer or the butter melted in your pie plate. I can’t imagine rolling this without wax paper, it was a life saver. I think I will make prefilled baggies with dried ingredients for next time. Thanks Dale
Great recipe. Today I added pecans, because Texas. I will happily take on a mess of dishes in exchange for a speedy recipe, and this one delivers. I cheated, I actually used the same mixing bowl, washing it in between steps. I even mixed frosting by hand. So don’t be deterred if you don’t own a kitchenaid (or three 🙂). Thanks again Dale

I’m definitely going to make these…I made yeast ones last week and the yeast wasn’t that good so they didn’t rise that well. You can’t go wrong with good ole baking powder 😉. Thanks Dale!!

Hi Dale, Happy Saturday evening. Thought I would just drop you a HELLO and to say hope you and Angel are doing well ! 😊 Tomorrow is Super Bowl -- will you be watching ? I will be cheering for the Cincinatti Bengals ! They haven't been part of Super bowl in forever, so I am cheering for an underdog -- although I do not know how they are ranked against the Rams . Do you watch any of the Olympics ? I am partial to the Alpine skiing events and the snowboard racing ( that's not the correct event title -- maybe it is snowboard cross ? ) where 4 or 5 racers challenge on a slalom type course. Hope your weather has been mild. We have had a total of 6 inches of snow in January here in Chicagoland area -- pretty dismal -- it won't help spring growth if We don't get more snow to improve the water table. Have you started any plants yet in your basement greenhouse ? Are you reading any new books ? Have you ever read books by Clive Cussler ? His novels are kind of James Bond type with high tech, high drama, intrigue, suspense and lots of twists and turns that keep you interested and wondering until the very end ! I have never watched a football gave LOL. I do watch quite a bit of the olympics .We have had a lot of cold weather and several storms but as winters go I have seen a lot worse. My seed orders haven't arrived yet But I go an areogarden for Christmas and have it started working of a video that will be out in a week or so. I have read a few of Cusslers books.
