I knew of the sad story and knew there was a grave in Peartree Church, I had never seen it or really read up about it. The jams and chutneys are super nice. The pickles blew Steve's arse off, but that's not unusual. Love to you both too xx 🥰⛵🐾🚐 xx

I'm sorry to say that I thought the same thing as Steve when I saw your lovingly prepared meal, but it was probably very tasty. Your tale of cannibalism reminded me of a chat on board when we were doing our Cape Horn thing. Apparently back in those day if a sailor died on board, after the burial at sea the captain would auction off the deceased belongings and the proceeds went to the widow or family. It was thought unlucky to wear any of the clothes until after the voyage was completed. This story had my crew mates eying up my new HH ocean jacket and trousers and a lot of whispering . I decided from then on to clip on and sleep with one eye open. Good news on your brown marks getting removed Steve. Might be worth sending them your undies.
