New PERSIA is BROKEN! Eu4 1.36 (Mission Tree Only)

- Hello my fellow Chairs, today we look at the two nations of Ardabil and Persia as we attempt to complete both of their mission trees. This one took me quite awhile as the new Persian Mission Tree is MASSIVE. But, overall the new Persia is one of the most enjoyable experiences in Eu4 1.36 as their revamped ideas, unique units, and new missions are absolutely BROKEN. They're now a true Ottoman killer like the Commonwealth and Austria. The Ottomans stand no chance despite numerical advantages, the Persian ideas and units just destroy the Ottomans.
I hope you all enjoy!

Next time we are gonna cover Byzantium 😊
Mighty late but you better get on it!!
@ewigerschuler3982 OH I WILL.
Oh yes, the fallen bois
Make Rome proud
YASS BYZANQUEEN!
Please for the love of god use the special pronoia subject type Byzantium got. I’ve seen people call them a gimmick, THEY SAVE YOU LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF ADMIN POINTS! It spawns a 46 year old for the subject and once you’ve retracted inheritance rights and he is dead you get instant inheritance with free cores and the original autonomy level of the province like nothing extra added on top. They are Vassals + Personal Unions but free and more powerful and better.
Even for Mission Tree only just feed the conquered provinces to a vassal, make him a pronoia, retract inheritance rights and inherit free cores.
Chairman: Before you core anything, select this mission to core Tabriz, the most expensive.
Five seconds later...
Chairman: I'm going to select this mission that increases province dev by 3 in the Azerbaijan area, which I haven't cored yet which makes every uncored province more expensive.
It is definitely not my brightest moment 🤣
@@thechairmangames Neither is mine
this was beautifully played, commentated, and edited
Thank you! 😊
This looked awesome. Very encouraging for my Mamluk > Egypt > Persia game I plan on doing one day
That sounds like an interesting run
Hope to see more misison tree only episode they are great 👍
Thank you! They take a lot of time to make but I really enjoy making them and it's awesome that everyone seems to enjoy them also!
Thx for the content bro! Keep up the good work
Thank you!!
Louis the 18th naming his son Louis is crazy! XD 🤣
They're a very creative family lol
Love this series so much
😋
Qizilbash = kızıl baş
"Kızıl" meaning red and "baş" meaning head in Turkish. It was a name for soldiers from the Shia Safavid religious order because they wore a red colored head wear
Probably one of my favorite eu4 series rn, as a proud mission clicking enthusiast
just like intended
Always as intended
Lore of New PERSIA is BROKEN! Eu4 1.36 (Mission Tree Only) momentum 100
41:30 average Roman-Persian conflict
I turn my head for one second and the Mongols jump from Ferghana to the Pirate Coast. How and why?
How: The Oirat attacked Transoxiana and vassalized their ally Yas.
Why: Mongols like sand, unlike Anakin Skywalker
I only had trouble getting the "riches in asia" mission.. i had way too much production income, that i never had 50% of my income being trade :S
I assume having trade ideas or making trade companies would solve that.
AQ & QQ are another great option for the mission trees only challenge. They are a great candidate for forming Persia (tho I heard there's a bug where You can't complete the Persian missions if Your ruler's culture is NOT Persian, so handle this issue first)
It's not really a bug but more an oversight. There are ways to change culture of your ruler but those are quite tedious. Wouldn't surprise me if they changed it in a patch.
Also it only applies to a small part of the mission tree.
@@addmolitionexe9573 ow really? Tell Me, what two missions are You refering
QQ is one of my all time favorites to play as
@@thechairmangames ow, that's great. What makes It special?
@user-Erimej they get perfect generals if you run Offensive and Aristocratic ideas. Plus, the Tribal Federation mechanic is really good for manpower recovery speed and I really like Cav heavy nations
How did Oirat get to the Arabia? This was so cursed haha
They attacked Transoxiana and vassalized their ally Yas 🥲 from there, they really liked the Arabian sand so they wanted more of it
Pronouncing Ardabil like “gobble gobble” is cursed 😂
i didn't understand where "send royal ambassador" diplomatic action is?
Thumbnail be like: Maption Eagle
It does look like an Eagle!
In addition to your map painting at the end of the video, remember that you get claims on the entire Indian subcontinent too
You could've show strength to your rival georgia while they were getting stomped for 300 points and PP
Good point. 👍 My thinking at that time was just land, before the major powers gobble up too much and I become the odd one out
Actually, never converting is perfectly viable for Shia, especially if you run Humanism and go for the OTHER green nation in that area, as you then get accepted cultures easy peasy. Trade Companies also make that hella viable, or even in some ways preferable to the other way, as Persia is a serious contender for the best trade node (and especially best non-endnode, second only maybe to East African one)
Sometimes I wonder how the modern Minghals would be like, and just shudder
This is an interesting take 🤔
How did Oirat even get provinces in Arabia?
SOOOOO, they had attacked Transoxiana who was allied to Yas, they subjugated Yas and decided it was time they needed some sand for their horses to trample as they went on to conquer Haasa and Hormuz
Ardabil starting cavalry are ass due to your fund and you have access to a cheper and better Qizilbash so one of a rare case i will thumb up for deleting cavalry.
Edit : Also i'm seething in envy that you get Biapas ally Shivran, Shivran is my bane because they always ally Ajam and if left long enough, Ottoman.
Honestly, small nations should not start with that cav unit. They're wayy too expensive. Plus, with Ardabil it seems to be better just to get the Qizilbash infantry.
Lol yeah my first run they were rivaled, tried to play it out but QQ was determined to end my campaign that time. So this is my 2nd attempt
@@thechairmangames For Ardabil aside from pathetic income that at the start i can only loan 4 ducats, you can recruit Qizilbash cavalry as well which are both cheaper and stronger so vanilla cavalry it's a waste of money.
That said much of my money spent during early war are buying mercenary. Timing are tight and i need as many men as quickly as possible and normal recruitment are too slow and not to mention lack of manpower.
Can you play russia missiontree only?
I'm gonna do Byzantium (again) next then I'll make sure I do Muscovy/Russia as it's been asked for awhile
How did you went from 20K manpower to 70K in 1471?
The new Qizilbash estate has an agenda that is broken. They want you to make an order in a state and in return it gives you an absurd amount of manpower
you forget the island of Suqutra in arabia
I ALWAYS FORGET THAT ISLAND 🏝
I picked religious ideas and quaility ideas
Oirat Arabia, how cursed is that
It was so cursed and unnecessary
Gachikumukh?
چرا نسخه من این ماموریت هارو نداره 😢
Do you have the King of Kings DLC?
Iran, no Persia
