Played with this list in a sim for a few hours today and I’m really liking it. The primite cards definitely provide a lot of value to the deck. Drillbeam being a negate+ banish , roar being spot removal on the opponents normal summon and the counter trap flat out stopping turns entirely. Definitely a strong engine.

@ethan7359 It's playable in the TCG without them. Only some minor adjustments are needed. I'll post a TCG list by tomorrow probably (on the community tab).

At 10:53 u cant act the 2nd effect of lordly lode because it says u cannot act ss monster effects on field the turn you would ss the normal monster. U started with duodrive
Yes you can still activate ss monster effect before you use the 2nd effect you can check the Yu-Gi-Oh database for the ruling

@@parhampanah The reason is that the restriction is applied after the effect resolves. Basically the same as S:P Little knight (you can attack directly, then make s:p to banish).

@@stq2010 it targets a face card, negates it's effects and then banishes it. It can negate any face-up targetable card that has effects.
Why does nobody play contact c in the ocg to counter ryzeal?
@@FinleyBrayMusic Mulcharmies are better. Contact C can be used for cost to SS Ice Ryzeal for free.

@@CHAOSfirst1 If its the only monster you have then youll make Dolkka otherwise you just do your other Ryzeal plays
Is laggia better than dolkka to counter Evenly , eclipse etc?
@@viko1996viko If you don't have Beam then Laggia better. You always search it so you'll have it most of the time to negate evenly.

@@shaggy869 Ophion does nothing to Maliss and Ryzeal so it's not the meta for it. Dolkka is more generic.
