About Dune: Part Two:
The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning “Dune.” “Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

"There are no sides...Reverend Mother"
This movie was an unbridled masterpiece
"There are no such things as sides, you of all people should know that" is the quote. Probably referring to the fact that Jessica is born Harkonnen, but lives as an Atreides, and has Bene Gesserit training
@@GrNenbasically they bet on everything, no matter who wins, they survive.
@@haha9051 Plans within plans within plans.
@@GrNenand also the fact that the og(lol) reverend mother also wins with Paul being the Lisan Al Gaib, since she paved the way for him. It's like betting on all sides.
it truly is
"May thy knife chip and shatter."
"...May 𝘵𝘩𝘺 knife chip and shatter"
I love how Feyd and Paul are the exact opposites of the same coin, and i love how Feyd-Rautha replied to Paul saying "cousing??"
@@adriana.5446 Feyd is all the Harkonnen side of Paul
Its so triumphant with the final defeat of the Harknonnens, yet a new menace has arrived...Muad'Dib.
May hans soundtrack chip and shatter my speakers
I love how this was the same melody used in the first movie to symbolize the curiosity and passion paul had about learning about the fremin and Arakis from his holo books. then in the second movie, that same melody is also played here, but built ontop of the melody is this corrupted, dark, and tense composition symbolising that paul's curiosity and passion has changed direction. No longer is he interested and fascinated in the beauty and mystery of arikis and it's native peoples like he once was, now he is using the people of Arakis to help him satiate a new curiosity and desire, that of revenge and power... Chilling piece of writing and narrative storytelling through the music alone.
I love how this one track back to "herald of the change" from the first movie, "Herald of the change" make so much sens in the context of this scene.
Oh absolutely, and I thought Herald of Change was the highlight of the Dune 1 soundtrack anyway. Truly awesome to see it return this triumphantly 🤘
my favorite part of this track, the music ends the movies the way it starts it.
Possibly my favorite track in the whole film, has a certain feeling of pure vengeance to it.
It's a hateful, even spiteful feeling from paul, but a release of tension!!
Coudln't say it better!

@@ga1actic_muffin An amazing observation! Thanks for pointing that out, it makes the theme even better for me.
That Duel to the Death with Knives between Feyd and Paul was incredible, although Feyd could have had much more screen time it had the most interesting elements and connections to Paul, and well, Paul's rise is outstanding, the choreography, photography and tension to the maximum
“You fought well, Atreides…”
I loved that they make feyd an honorauble Warrior
*dies
@@mrrios2881I was actually surprised that a psychopath has a somewhat sense of honor.
He said it twice in the movie.
@@MAnuscript421I loved his characterization In the movie, he shows no respect towards rabban because he can easily beat and humiliate him but shows respect towards Paul a worthy opponent.
Herald of the change + Arrival =
This one is the most representative of Dune 2 IMO, probably my favorite. Like beginning with the Dune's theme and progressively going to a darkly vicious and psychotic feeling (by the slow sound of the cello), ending up to a heavy and violent one (the vibration of the thick metal string). Hans Zimmer, guys...
For me my favorite it kiss the ring
Sweet idealistic Paul becomes the genocidal manipulative messiah Paul.
the background motif that starts at 0:45 is some of Zimmer's best work
Hans Zimmer lifting us mere mortals to his plane. ❤️🙏🏻😭🙏🏻❤️
Kind of a slower version of Herald of the Change with hints of Paul's Dream.
And Arrival
Remember how in Dune Part One he had visions of dying from that knife? Only after drinking the Water in Part Two he knew how to turn the tide in his favour.
HANS DID IT AGAIN!!! This one is my favourite from the movie by far tbh😮💨❤️
This track is pure sensory overload. Unreal.
Feyd fought to the last breathe, die well warrior.
The low strings in this are absolutely breathtaking, especially in relation to the higher melody
Love this part of the movie and score. Something won but shouldn’t have. The galaxy will feel Paul’s wrath.
This track hits!
OSCAR INCOMING
He is dead on Part 1 remember? (badumtss)

can someone explain me how Paul survived the knife?
i may have missed some seconds in that fight scene but didn't feud struck him with a knife in his chest? how did he end up surviving it ? does Paul have super physical power?
I think Feyd stabbed him in the side of his abdomen, so it at least missed major organs like the heart and lungs. Paul was trained as a Bene Gesserit by his mother, so he has extreme control over his body's physical and chemical processes. He can probably use those abilities to minimise the immediate danger of the stab wound until he receives medical attention.
He wouldn't have, but that's inconsequential
@@Kai-fb1ol Paul is OP pls nerf!
@Kai-fb1ol plus, he knew what Feyud would do. It's kinda the same places he "hit" Gurney when they were training in the first movie
Feyd never managed to hit a death blow, the first hit was to the side of the abdomen, near the kidneys. The second hit Paul managed to direct to his own shoulder as he sunk the blade he had pulled out of himself into Feyd’s heart.
Irulan: Spare My Father and i will be Your Willing Bride
Paul: SILENCE!
Parliamo della musica di Zimmer.....questo il pezzo piu" bello ....per me!!!!!❤
Ngl, this gives me a little bit of some Cyberpunk 2077 vibes.
