Cedar Flower Box: Easy Money!

I made these Cedar Flower Boxes this spring and sold them FB Marketplace. I probably sold 50 of them in about a month. It comes with a removable plastic liner (which is just a plastic window box from a big box store)
Materials cost around $35.
- 4) 6’ fence pickets
- 2) cedar spindles
- 1) plastic window box (as a liner)
- staples or brad nails
- wood glue or construction adhesive
I sold them for $100
By the end I could make almost 2 per hour. That’s $130 an hour! You can easily build one in an hour if you’re all set up.

It's great you're having success with this design. I would struggle to sell any at $100 in my area. Probably closer to $55-65 would be more realistic.

You might be surprised! I definitely could have lowered the price and sold a lot more, but honestly I was getting enough orders that I was happy with the amount I was making. It's glued and screwed, and the plastic insert comes with it. If you were to buy it without the plastic insert (at like a Big Box Store), it'd probably cost $75, and it would be built way worse
