How they turn these majestic caves into temples of worship, never ceases to amaze me 😮..plus, all the statues, other such ornamentals & grounds...the time & care involved...wow...just wow! 🤯💗
The castle looks like it would've been so amazing if it had been finished...so sad to see some of it "crumbling"... apparently from the elements over the years. 😐 I can see Kellie & her husband...standing on the balcony...looking out over the grounds...smiling at one another...so happy...so much in Love💕
@@WorldFamilyExplorersActually Kellie's Castle used to be one of paranormal hunters favourites when it was left abandoned but now since it is managed for a touristic spot, the ghost has gone apparently.
@@WorldFamilyExplorers That's wonderful. Wonder if you guys had the chance to visit the Tambun Lost World water themed park which also has a mini zoo, your boys would probably like it there. 😀
@@WorldFamilyExplorers Wonderful. There are many water themed park in Malaysia. Near KL is the Sunway Lagoon. In Penang, there's Escape. There are also other indoor and outdoor themed park in Genting Highlands not that far from KL. There is Legoland in Johor. 😀

Only american don't know: kellie castle was built in 1915 and he was abandoned by construction on the castle was never completed by the workers. The castle was abandoned for a long time it is a popular place by ghost stay in this castle at night. It will be open by morning and close at night. The castle was located in Batu gajah kinta district perak. So be careful there are no fence in is building. On top there's a abandoned helipad.
We don't have alligator but we have saltwater crocodile which is much bigger n ferocious. That "elephant thing" is tapir, our native animal and that long yellow fish is arowana, one of the most expensive. ornamental fish.
there is a popular Chinese breakfast dish that is available in some Chinese coffeeshops and that is called Lor Mai Kai. it is glutinous rice with chicken that is cooked in soya sauce, thick black sweet caramel sauce and sesame oil. it is popular among the Chinese in Malaysia. do give it a try. it is nice and tasty.
@@WorldFamilyExplorers ask your friend Kelly to take you to a Chinese coffeeshop to try this Lor Mai Kai. it should be available in Ipoh. most probably you will like it.
I drink quite a bit of different teas, both hot & cold...interesting to see where some are grown...would be even moreso to see where/how they're harvested. 🤔 The grounds are beautiful...cafe is cute...would be cool to sample the tea onsite as you have. 😊
there is also 2 breakfast beverages in Malaysia that is suitable for kids apart from milo and that is Nestum cereal and Horlicks. they come with condensed milk and taste nice. you can have it hot or with ice.
Curious...did the plaque mention what type of "emergency" the secret staircase would've been built for?...was it in case of fire?...or were they afraid of being attacked for some reason?🤔...thieves, perhaps? 🤷🏼♀️
That's a good question! We don't know the answer, but I'm sure anyone with a castle would project wealth and the have high security measures from would be robbers!
there are security guards guarding Kellie's castle at night and a gardener who cuts the grass and takes care of the plants at Kellie's castle. they have seen the ghosts/spirits of Kellie and his family in and around the castle at night and they get terrified. if you go there at night, you may be able to see their ghosts/spirits there in white.
We heard about the ghost stories but thankfully we didn't encounter any during our visit 😅 I don't think we'll be going back at night 😂 not sure if they are friendly ghosts haha
hi.you should not visit Kellie's castle bcos it is haunted and there are more than 1 spirits/ghosts that live in the castle.people have seen the spirits/ghosts inside the castle.I will not recommend anybody to visit the castle.
