That was some decent fishing...going to give the flasher/fly trick a try up here.. Enjoy your vid...keep em coming From my ice fishing igloo on the mountain in grande cache alberta 🇨🇦 D.
@@worldsfastestube7302 oh yeah for sure! The roads are open and easy travel again. Still some areas of the highway under repair but they diverted around those areas.
Yeah, no brookies though and caught a bunch off camera. Also had another 5 plus pound bow that broke the hook right below the hole. Was a great day. Plenty of fish. The just don't like to bite on camera. I was moving lots too and sometimes just don't drag the camera around enough when the action is happening. But got enough. Other guys at the lake said they didn't have much action at all near the ramp end.
@@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures That's my cousin. He lives right by the lake. Think I've only caught 2 bows out of there this year. Lots of brookies for me.
the first one was great, too bad you didn't hand scoop that one you lost at the hole. it stayed for a couple of seconds , would of been awsome on video!
It's the stuff you can buy at Walmart, comes on a ring with the sauce in the middle. They're pinkish in coloration so I assume cooked. I don't eat shrimp so I don't know much about it. I just use it for bait.
@@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures oh ya just wanted to know because I love hard water fishing this lake and idk if it is still safe out there from the heat snap thanks for the info anyways btw you my favourite youtuber
@@Nathan-wd3lb I didn't realize we had a heat snap. Once the lake is iced over good like it was it will be safe to walk on with no issues likely till March.
There is no way to specifically Target big rainbows the only way you can really Target big fish is buy fishing a lake that actually has big fish that's the number one key growth rate and fertility of the lake
And if you're telling me that you're using those small little jigs and you think you're targeting Big fish you are not a lunker hunter and have no f****** clue the key to Big fish is Big lures
Gotta love big bows doc. Cheers for the great content
Thank you! Yeah they are a great fish all year long.
It looks like a nice day, good-sized rainbow
Yes, funny thing was it was a slow day fishing for most guys but going the distance to get away from the crowd was useful.
@@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures it's always nice to get away.

I actually was told by another guy that he was meeting your brother on the ice there that morning.

@@FishingWithBottles ok cousin, yeah seems it wasn't a brookie day when I was there. I might have to try again but it usually slows down a bit now.

Yeah I am not that excited about scooping trout. I'd rather scoop perch.
Is it cooked or raw shrimp? Thanks

Location, location, location. If you always fish the small fish lakes you'll never catch a big one.
