You got me at number 1! ❤ Personally I love number 2. As a GM I love the Mana spend limit. It makes balancing so much easier compared to OP spellcasters in DnD. And again, an amazing video 😁
Aww, we love you too, man. Like you, this game also hooked me up right away with how versatile and open it was and looking at how people like you or Bardic Aggravation are actually enjoying the system and helping spread the word... It really put a smile on my face.
Another great video! Couldn’t agree with you more about your number 1. This community is awesome. I was so happy to see your name being blue in the discord. Try not to feel like an imposter, I know you are great addition to the team. These videos you make are proof 😊

@@claudio_wild gotta make sure DC20 is big enough at general release for the big actual plays use it. They've already noticed and are watching it, just gotta keep the momentum going.
I really enjoy #9 and 8. For the reactions, I love being able to fluidly decide what the most impactful use of AP would be. As for no required attributes, I love not having to build each class more or less around the same attribute every time.
DC20 truly is "DnD 6e, as it should have been." If you're a hardcore OSR guy, and you want to capture the old-school DnD feel, then DC20 probably isn't for you. BUT if want a modern "heroic fantasy" game that's finally done well and gets away from the annoying parts of 5e, DC20 is BY FAR the best choice! No contest!
@commonviewer2488 that's something I didn't mention but could have early made the top 10. The system is also really inviting to homebrew. It's easy to see how homebrew plugs into DC20 once you get familiar with the game
Ap refreshment mens bad initiative is better than good. It pays to be slow and to act after the enemies. Not sure this is good if you envisioned a fast character.
@@eoris12 it's not really better since there is still so much you can only do on your turn. Especially some of the most powerful or intentional things. Going first is still ideal. Although you are right that this makes acting later not as detrimental
Number 8 is the only thing i actively dislike about the game, makes stat choice meaningless, while adding nothing. I understand the flavour implications, but the mechanical implications are not worth it
@njfernandes87 stat choices are definitely not meaningless though. They affect many other important parts of builds. They affect, your defensive stats, your HP, the amount of skills you have, as well as ""minor" benefits like jump distance, grit points, encumbrance (which isn't codified yet), etc. They aren't meaningless, they just do something different. I would argue stat choices are more meaningless on DnD since it's not really a choice, you just pick the ability score for your class. That's not a choice really, that's just a restriction
I really dislike the "DC20 is much much better than 5e, don't play 5e, play this!" Mentality. Why? Praise your game, you don't have to shoot anything else down.
@moonlight2870 this video is me voicing my opinion. I still play DnD but DC20 addresses many of my biggest issues with DnD and isn't really missing out on anything DnD has for me besides just being complete and having more content. Also I'm often comparing to DnD because it's what I know best and the most popular TTRPG by far. It is the standard, and sometimes only, TTRPG experience people have.
