Honestly, the sound was all over the place. Blasting loud - then I could barely hear it.
I have also learned that since getting my pock-rock that, I can add a looper on the output side, and record a loop of drums & guitar rhythm for playback, and practice leads on top....so cool to be able to work on your own stuff!
What looper do you use?

Ammoon mini looper....they are inexpensive but, work very well and hold their own.
I just got one of these from my wife as an early Christmas present and I love it. I have a ton of multi effects,pedals, amps, PA gear, etc. But out of all of it, this is by far the unit that surprised me the most. There is nothing else in this price range that even comes close.
Same and same. It was a pretty cool stocking stuffer this past Christmas, I was thrilled.
I got my wife a payday candy bar cuz she said she likes them....

Or else it works only for Ampli with speakers..
@@sneadmc Sadly you can only use one at a time but you can still dial in some great sounds out of this little thing :)
@@meakshaybura It can't be used wirelessly however, if your bluetooth speaker has a 1/16 stereo input you can come out of the headphones jack on the PockRock into that input and it sounds absolutely fine. Just turn on the pockrocks amp simulator switch.

Great review video ! Nice edit ! I just ordered one from Wally world for $32.99 with the power adapter and free shipping ! I think It will work well for a stereo battery powered guitar amp I'm building ! I am going to use this as a preamp/effects for it ! I had 2 12' fender vintage alnico speakers laying around and bought 2 $9 footnote amplifiers from parts express ! So for $50 I will have a true 2-12" stereo guitar amp powered by 2 9v batteries and 2 AA batteries ! Yee Haw buddy !

Good review. I have one, but I don't use it very much. I like the effects but I mostly use my pedals. But it's still a good little effects Box. The drums sound quite good too.

Thanks for a great review. I haven't touched a solid guitar in about five years and picked one up this week. I was looking for something I could use to record it on "Audacity" and this seemed perfect for next to no money. I've gone ahead and ordered one for myself. One question, I see you posted this a couple of years ago, is yours's still going strong? At the price point I was wondering how much of a lifespan we can expect from these little gadgets.

@@bernardgobenciong Hi bernard, my PockRock arrived a few days ago, I'm really pleased with it. Back in the day I used a Zoom 4040, this sounds just as good, if not better and is so much easier to use. It records really well so it's just what I was looking for. I'm so glad I found your review.
Hey, I know this video is 4 years old, but is the demo at 10:00 all using sounds from the the pockrock? Drums and all tones (as in you're not using gain from an amp or daw)?

Update 1 yr later. The biggest downfall is you can only use 1 delay of 3 OR 1 reverb of 3 at a time. The delay in the Pockrock is very good so I put a reverb pedal after the PR and it gets me where I want then. My reverb pedal has 6 very good settings. The Donner Multi Pad 100 you can use 1 of 3 delay with 1 of 3 reverb together! That's on my wish list ✌
I have this one and it doesn't need an amp. Just plug your 3.5 mm earphone on it. There you go, you can play guitar without disturbing anyone around.

Yes, this is a good tutorial of Pockrock. I've had mine a few weeks now and I DO like it. It cost less than the basic Zoom and a basic Digitech but I favour the P-rock. It's simpler to operate and renders up tones that please me. MORESO THAN THE OTHERS. For years I bin seeking a good fuzz pedal. I bot a couple of big name fuzz pedals but I don't use them. They distort but they can't fuzz. This little Pockrock produces the truest fuzz I've ever had. It goes beyond fuzz into "BUZZ". Hallelujah! That's exactly what I've sought all these years. I hate distortion but I love the fuzz buzz. This Pockrock pedal is terrific.

I have this one for three years and i still love how it sounds. But i do have a problem with that.
Everytime i play a note, it makes some noise, and it's slowly faded along with the note.
Do you notice that? And if you do, what did you do to fix that problem?
I mean you can hear it clearly by the time you demo its clean channel in this video.
This was an awesome review and funny intro! You mentioned in the description that you connected it to your focusrite scarlett. How did you do that like where do I plug and using what cable? I want to connect it to my Zoom recorder and I think the process is similar? Hoping for your response.
Hi! so what I did was just connect the "output" of the pockrock to one of the inputs of my focusrite scarlett 2i2 using a normal guitar cable. I hope that answered your question haha! Please feel free to ask anything else. I will answer your questions, well if I can 😂

honestly, i dont get why someone would get separate pedals for fuzz, overdrive, reverb, etc, when you can get all these effects in one pedal!!! great video btw!

Sorry for the dumb question but this is not an amp right this is a processor so you need an amp or like a headphone and for the guitar to make this work correct

sounds very muddy in clean, but for that price it is a good gimmick. Just dont bring this on a live stage. I ordered mine last week, it should be on its way now.
Getting a sawtooth beginner guitar and amp for birthday, gonna pair this with the lil setup to give it some punch and variation. Think it’s a good use of the product? Want to get some good overdrive gain and delay. Great production btw
Good choice. I have 2 of the Sawtooth ES Strats and the 10 watt amp. The guitars are very good except the pickups. The Sawtooth 10 watt amp is surprisingly good sounding. No need for a speaker swap.
