Glad I wasn’t the only one.
I scrolled down to post the exact same thing.

I was going to get a Kemper, but after seeing this.........
You are still going to get a Kemper ;-)
and it's only gonna cost you $25
As far as cost proposition this is the best your gunna get
@@larbear666 damn right, too much value for the money. I am seriously considering it to take it to work (I have A LOT of down time)
You could buy like 50 of these for the price of a Kemper
Distortion even sounds better when the batteries start to die.
It’s starts sounding 8-bit
@@7jelly777
Now you have me wondering how distortion is made. High frequency cut outs? Or how much is cut out? BTFOM. All I know is that it really gets scrambled at the end of the batteries life, of course til it cuts out completely, volume and all.
Well the earliest forms of distortion were musicians slashing the fuck out of the speaker cones in their amps, but that isn’t based on any type of circuit. The first true distortion I believe was discovered by someone (I can’t remember the names at the moment) recording a bass track into a channel on a soundboard with a busted circuit. The story goes that they loved the sound it gave so much that they took the board apart and reverse engineered the circuit to create the first fuzz. To explain what distortion is, you have to visualize a typical looking sound wave form with peaks and valleys. All distortion does is increase the intensity of those waveforms past the threshold cutting off or “clipping” off the tops and bottoms of those waveforms. The more clipping, the more distorted the sound, and different circuits will clip the waveform in unique patterns given an amplifier a signature sound.
It becomes a fuzz pedal
@@joshuawhitley5819 not sure if you said it but some others examples are from players cranking their amps to get distortion as I think some vintage amps from that era didn't have gain knobs.
And today Fluff realized that most pedals are vastly overpriced for their simple ultra cheap circuits they contain.
Well actually most overpriced pedals are made so that you can hear the harmonic frequencies of each note and even though the basic circuits for effects like drive and distortion are pretty simple, a circuit that sustains the harmonics is more complex and utilises more expensive materials. Some petals are overpriced, but my behringer distortion sounds really lifeless(still good though) compared to a well set up metal zone (which could be a bit cheaper, about 80€ for example) .

I just wanted to say thank you. My best friend got this for me after you posted this and I told him all about how much I really, really wanted it. I love it and it's helped me get back into guitar playing. Before this video I probably hadn't played in almost a decade. I'd given up on guitar and it always made me really sad whenever I thought about it. I can't afford an amp or decent gear so have to go with what's cheap and until this I couldn't find anything cheap that sounded good. This suits all my bedroom player needs. Thank you for reviewing this and for getting me back into playing guitar.
You and I have a vastly different idea of what a "clean" sound is. Ha
For the price it doesn’t suck, it could be better but it doesn’t suck
How many subs you have? Ha

I have this multi effect.
The best thing I discovered about it is it can split your signal into two chains.

Now is a good time to let everyone know that Behringer Pedals are actually not bad. The Super Fuzz, Tube Screamer Clone, and Ultra Vibrato are perfect dead on copies of the Boss equivalent. Their Tube Screamer sounds exactly like TS808. Best part... they are $25 each.

So it's a rip off of a Behringer V-Amp which is a rip off of a POD :) lol
And when we spend our money on it we will be the last in the line of ripped off. (Actually for $30 it could be useable)

I have one of these. Best bit of practice gear I have, because of the drum machine and the range of tones.
I don’t think it sounds amazing, but for the price, it’s GREAT. The built in metronome makes it great for working on your timing.
I think you meant that the built in metronome makes it worth your tim(ing)......I know. I know.... I'll go jump off of a large structure now....
I bought one of these for my daughter and was amazed by what it can do. In fact, it can do a hell of a lot more than shown in this video. She loves the fact that you can plug your phone into it as well as the jack so that you can play along with your favourite tracks and along with the huge number of karaoke videos available on RUclips. There is an 1/8 output for headphones as well as 1/4 to the amp. This little gem is well worth the money. I just don't know how long it will last but it plugs in as well so you don't need batteries. If you've got any kid learning the guitar or bass, consider getting one of these.

That's a perfect little travel processor.
Hey Ryan, I never thought I would see you so close to speechless! I've had one of these for over a year now and should of started a You Tube channel back then! I am continually amazed at the sounds I get out of mine. I use it a lot with headphones and am blown away every time. I got mine for under $30.00 with shipping on Ebay. The only downsides that I've found are it has a wierd noise gate, that is not adjustable, when you hit the strings lightly, on some settings and sometimes the noise is pretty bad. That seems to get better when you take time and set up the levels. If I could swing it, I would get at least two if I was going to use it professionaly! That way if one gets toasted you have a back up! You didn't even get into the presets or the set ups on the drum machine or adjusting the effects. This thing pretty much does it all! Like someone said, look out Kemper, Boss, Peavey and Vox and everyone else!
I have one. I love it.
Genuinely, I was giggling and laughing along with this as I can see how genuine your surprise is.

Just gonna say it... my Axe Fx II XL has *NO* drum machine... 🤔🤔
BROperatorTIME but you sure can fuck around in AxeEdit till your strings rot. I love my Axe FX XL+, I probably won’t buy any other hardware except for maybe a bass pedal like the Darkglass B7K because I can’t seem to get a useable bass tone out of this thing. I’ve only had it for about a year and a half and haven’t really dug into what this thing is capable of though. I love it 100% though

yeah but this thing got a lot of stuff for $25
I have ordered a lot of stuff from wish at this point, I must say this is definitely a win. I have seen these while going through this as well and wondered how they sounded. This thing sounds killer for the price! Please do more of these videos like this, it's really interesting to see how products from here hold up.
My favorite part of this video is not the killer budget practice solution especially for more entry level guitar players, though that's awesome. What really gets me here is the genuine positivity. It's really nice to see that in a time when even the non-drama RUclipsrs are jaded
I concur!
I also concur. Just a guy trying something out, and becoming quite happy with the results! That's enjoyable to watch. I certainly feel like tryin' one of these out. I liked this video a lot.
If I hadn't heard this I would never have believed it. Just followed your link, it comes in black also and is now $35, but it has the pedal sounds, 40 drum rhythms, a tuner, auxiliary in to play with your favorite music, comes with a 9v adapter (or you can use batteries), etc. Freaking wow! I'm gonna pick one up for the motorhome and campfire jamming! Thanks for sharing, brother! 🤘
When I’m not bothered to plug into my Marshall I use the Pockrock in mt mode with gain on half. That goes into a JBL Bluetooth speaker on my desk. It sounds great for practice.
I bought one last year . Thought it was pretty cool for what it is . The drum sounds are almost usable and for $30 shipped you can't beat the price .

Holy shit, i was expecting it to sound bad but now im happy it sounds really good.

i remember that effects processor, it was my first one, i liked it, absolutely great for beginners, not so great for performance or recording anyway.
So I got one of these for the Christmas after this video was posted. After I let my son use it to mess with his e drum set and apparently he was a bit too rough on the AAA battery mount and it shorted out causing the batteries to overheat. I pulled out the battery connection and plugged a 9v battery to the barrel connection and now it works just fine. I've got about $200 in gear (guitar included) that includes electric guitar- cables- looper- wah- tuner- fuzz-delay-tremolo- amp and a funky drum beat to boot.
WHAAAAAAT?!? Dude. This was so frigg'n cool.
I bought one of those about a year ago and had the exact same response. Great little toy. I usually just have that and a loop pedal. #HoursOfFun
The new nickname for this pedal should be called the "WHAT!"

I got one of these they pretty cool little devices ......literally have everything in one device ....you can even plug in headphones and play a backing track too ...it has two aux plug ins one for headphones and one aux in wich I would say is used for backtracks ....really great product for beginners and pros
One of the many attempts to recreate the Scholz Rockman !! Nice for the $$, it should be able to keep a beginner teen engaged in learning guitar.
"WHHHAAAAATTT?!?!?" love it.
Very nice! Amoon makes great pedals. I have their nano Looper. Literally the smallest looper on the market that I can find. You should demo that!
Amoon make surprisingly good stuff tbh. I bought a bass off amazon by them for £50 just to have something to play and its pretty amazing for that price. Even recorded an album on it
Ok, tune out his 'WOTS?'. This thing is very cool. I took a chance and got mine a week ago. Just playing around with it, and for me: $24 and free shipping, it's well worth it. Beginners and novices will love this thing. Even with a cheap amp, this will drive a whole new level of creativity and make you want to play more often. Even experienced players(like this guy!) get jazzed about it. This is NOT something you want to just toss into a gig bag, though. The plastic casing is light grade, and the knobs will be the first thing to snap. Keep the box as the Styrofoam packing will help make it last longer. It comes with a DC power adapter if you don't have batteries.
I'm sure someone alteady said it before but he realy realy look like Ope from SOA
I came for substance, but all I got was Fluff.
...I hunted down a Riffs, Beards and Gear video just to make that joke.
I want to watch Sunn O))) swap out their Sunn Model-T stacks and put their guitars thru these direct into the PA. The belt clip can be attached to their robes. That would be awesome.
They make some really good stuff actually, totally worth checking out
Dude. Seriously... that sounded pretty cool. I love down-and-dirty / simple-to-use products. Playing through apps on mobile devices gets boring and the tend to sound spongy. This seems like a cool solution.
It shows how far tech has come, for some $25 random guitar “contraption” from China on a dollar store website to be at least somewhat decent in comparison to a professional device that does a marginally better job
I still have the original line 6 pocket pod and these tones sound better than what the pod has.
"Clean Tone" Purists: "Man, that clips too hard - you can't record or do anything SERIOUS with THAT!"
Joe Sixpak The Badass Guitarist: "Snrrk - I just melted your face into Sloth from the Goonies."
That is like the ultimate "im going on vacation and i want to take my cheap gear with me"
I have one of these, It's good for just practicing quietly and walking around. I needed something with simple drum beats to work on timing. I kind of dig it. save some money, buy rechargeable batteries. you can save presets as well. there is a lot of functionality to it. also can use a dc adapter. oh yeah, it also has auxiliary in... and a tuner. it's basically everything you need for practice in one.
I'd like to hear cab sim off and using IRs for the cabinet.
And people finally realize how overpriced pedals are. Like paying $100 for an old calculator
