For many high school athletes seeking athletic scholarships, the first two weeks of September will be the moment of truth.
College coaches will begin contacting them, usually by phone, to let them know they are being recruited seriously.
Now, picture this: after years of dedication, your phone remains silent. No calls from college coaches, no signs of serious recruitment. The disappointment can be overwhelming.
