The Black & Decker workmate is a great invention, simple but so useful to have. There may be other work tables around but are they able to be rugged and easy to use. Because Black & Decker have a good name they have some credibility and are seen as a sensible choice. Spare parts can be something you need and that’s when the service shows as it were. I personally would choose Black & Decker and know I won’t regret the choice I made. Other companies may try to steal their share but the Workmate continues to be unbeatable.

This saw ruclips.net/user/postUgkx84IcU5pbZd1Qrz8u4-YRLmJax7kdRi7B comes in handy in many ways. When I had a small (dead) tree fall I started the process of disposal by using this saw and cutting off the small branches. Then slowly work on the small trunk with undercutting and letting it fall down. With many trees on acres of land paying for a tree service can be expensive. It also is nice in that it can be used in hard to get areas like along my creek. It's also safer and quieter than a chainsaw. It obviously can't cut down massive trees but it does work fine for small ones or brush. And of course since I already own a Black

I bought the Black and Decker when they were first introduced, still going strong . I wonder how many of these fancy plastic workbenches will still be around after over forty years of hard work.

What about Pony Jorgensen? It better, than Worx Pegasus.

My thoughts exactly. I have two Pony Jorgensens and they are phenomenal. Only drawback is they are a bit heavy. Glen

@@sandysmeltzer2975 Hello. I recently watched this video: ruclips.net/video/eEQ1MGO5JC8/видео.html (sorry but it's on Russian language). And once again convinced that I made the right choice.
At first I thought about buying a workbench from Worx, but in time I saw a video from the exhibition (it was held in Moscow last year). They showed a stand with products from Pony and Jorgensen. I immediately appreciated the workbench and decided to buy it. Doubts disappeared when I saw clamp tests on another channel, including clamps from Jorgensen.
The first thing I liked about the kit was the clamps. They do not protrude beyond the legs of the workbench when folded. You won't catch them by carrying something past the workbench. In addition, they are stronger, do not weaken the grip and are more pleasant in appearance than clamps from Worx. Secondly, the workbench is more stable and also the height of the legs changes. I even recently tilted it away from me and worked with a circular saw to cut ceramic tiles. It is convenient to install the disk, you don’t have to lean under the tabletop, you tilt the workbench (lower the opposite legs) 😁 .

Pony is better, just because of their clamps. Otherwise, I think the ease of opening and closng is a lot better on the Worx. Kind of sad, Worx's clamp sucks. I bought a couple for 79 dollars on amazon prime day. If it wasn't for the price I would of gotten the Pony just for their clamp.
