lkver is a retail brand under our company, dedicated to providing affordable and high-quality products to more kayak enthusiasts. Thank you very much for your real test of our products.
I also bought this LKVER drysuit from AliExpress. It works brilliantly, I've really put it to the test this winter and it has kept me bone dry. With only a fleece undersuit I've also stayed warm even completely submerged when white water kayaking and sea kayaking.. I am 5.11' and about 165lbs with size L. It is big(not too big but it could be a tad bit smaller for my size).. I can totally wear multiple layers and still move without any restrictions at all. I'm actually about to buy the same drysuit in another colour and this time in M to compare the fit.
@@DaveTheKayaker ye it's the same one, the DM-17. I bought the black one after seeing a River kings review on it. Nice to see another review (and another colour)
@@TommiContursi if you are under 180cm (5'11) the M should be fine (depending on your build) if you are 180cm and skinny, the M will be just on the edge, a bit restrictive when sitting down knees bent. So unfortunately as a 180cm regular/athletic build the M is a bit too small and the L a bit too big.. but too big is better at the end of the day. I'd say for a regular/athletic or skinny built person up to 178cm the M will be perfect. A heavier set or muscular build it might be restrictive.
I'm 6'1" and 174lbs. and it fits me just fine with plenty of room to move. I had to walk my kayak about 1/2 mile through the woods that day and the suit allowed for ample mobility. I'd be afraid to try to do a split at my age for so many reasons, but I would have no problems doing lunges wearing this suit. In fact, I had to do some deep knee bends and a lunge just to get in the boat from a steep bank. Plenty of mobility.
@@DaveTheKayakerDo you feel that it's too big or just perfect? I'm considering DM-15, the model with a hood, and I'm thinking sizes M and L. I'm 180cm, and my weight is between 75-80 kg. My typhoon drysuit is M and the same as my O'Neal wetsuit. It is just so difficult to buy the correct size from China. If it's too big, then I can still use it, but too small is a more significant problem.
is there truly a difference between "3-layer" or "4-layer" , it seems they market this DM17 model as 4-layer now. but i wonder if it is the exact same product with 3 layers..? false marketing?
AliExpress tells me it is no longer available. :-( I'm guessing people figured out what a great value it was and they are changing the name and charging more.

@@packraftadventuresHow was the fit of M-size? I'm considering buying it but I can't decide between M and L.

Dave Does it have double sealing waist tunnels ?
large size? How tall are you? Is the leg length long enough? Is there enough room to spread legs like treading water or do a split?

@@DaveTheKayaker funny. okay. How many inches would you say you have from the top of the shoulder to the suit when you lift the suit up?
I'll come back with a comment the next time I wear it.

Half a year has past since your last comment. What do you think about the suit after almost a year of use?
I'm still very happy with it.
How did the dry suite hold up this Spring?
100% fine. I highly recommend this one for the price.
Any issues with foot sizing on the Large? I have size 11 feet.
The booties are quite large so there will be no problem.

I have no way of knowing.
Do you have a link the DM-17 dry suit? I was unable to find it on AliExpress

Just bought one off Alibaba (not AliExpress) so they are still available and about the same price
