Grommet!! I was happy to see someone put more thought into the install. A bare wire through a roughly drilled hole had me cringing on the f150led video. More youtubers should show the real life mistakes like you show.
Even if it was a bit tricky at beginning, it just looks fantastic Ray 👍. Another great mod on your truck. Happy Father's day (in case you celebrate that tomorrow, too). See you in the next one 👋
Hey just an fyi when you take those metal clips out at 5:55 what you did isn’t the wrong way but I found that if you take a bent pick and pull them out it’s a lot easier and less likely to scratch the paint even tho that’s not to big of a deal just something to think about if you need to pull those emblems off again
I think I started the name of the product in the video at 11:55 timeframe. Please review for the product. Thanks for your interest and questions. Beware of the negative effects on spraying your vents.
Thanks for the question. The lights are still working. I haven't had a problem with them. knock on wood! I may do a quick video short update on these lights. Thanks again and check links in the description section.
I ordered this kit; bottom line, I think it’s junk. I am electing to get a single 1” button trailer light at O’Reilly’s. It may not be as good as yours. The instructions with this kit are terrible. I may also run it to an upfitter switch as getting to the parking light connector is a real pain, open to suggestions!
I disagree with your Assessment. It’s not prefect but if you follow my video you can install it with ease. Join it with the parking lights, don’t waste up fitter switch. Just my opinion.
I didn’t. Pirated some wire from it, but I can replace it; I totally agree with taking the badges off to do it. Maybe I’ll still try. I like the looks of yours. Just to confirm, you use a silicone bead to help secure the LED strip in addition to the adhesive on the lights?

Too much light coming out of it. I think this should look and feel “suddle”. Basically i plan to do exactly the same thing, but i will put it behind the badge, not sure why you ended up drilling holes and running it to the front and again the key is to find a suddle led so that its 5x less brightness, otherwise one can read your f350 badge there is so much light reflected to it, it becomes almost obnoxious. But if you like this “light city” coming from your side badge - power to you.
Thanks for the feedback. I understand what you are saying but I think you should get it into your hands 1st. The brightness isn’t as bad as you think. I believe when trying to record this image my ISO had to compensate for the low light. I 🤔 putting it behind the grill you won’t like how it looks. So keep that in mind video looks a lot different than in person. Good luck.

When did Ford start making XLT's with the tremor package?
2020
What kind of spray did you use on that to get that flat black look? It turned out good

Are these lights still working or have they given out., I just want to make sure that the lights will last and are not junk.

I would like to dip my badge as well. What variation of black did you use? Does it match body color?
Thanks for the question. Used hyper dip. No, it doesn't match the body paint but it does match in contrast color.

Just my opinion, not saying all their products are junk, it just didn’t work for me.
Did you try installing? Maybe you can use it in a different settings. Good luck 🍀
