You're pausing way too much while talking. 50% of the video is dead silence
Sorry thought process in real time
@capnclyde I'd imagine an easy fix is having an outline, and doing some basic editing? You don't have to read off a script necessarily, but there's a reason other channels are more successful. If you request comments to induce engagement, please be open to the feedback.
You……… might……….Be………..(big breath)…………… correct………….(whip snap, beans, and ah shooot)…………. Sir……………
I cant believe i waited 4 mins for you to make a very weak point.
thanks..lol
There's literally an Energy Focused commander deck for the set. Why are you surprised that the set features energy?
Cause I thought they learned they lesson the first time.
@@capnclyde You seem to assume that people dont like energy. If you take a look at the forums, you'll see that a huge number of players love energy mechanics. Also, the current standard is much higher in power level than the standard at the time, so "attune with aether" shouldn't cause too many problems.
i played in those days a trust me it was not a good thing there were several standard bannings to prevent energy deck from dominating the format. But we will see it all depends and whats in the set. the original problem was energy lead to free casting, extra creatures , extra card draw, and 5 color deck with no draw backs.
There probably going to power push this set to the next level in hope that it gets accepted by the public.
ive talked myself into and out of buying a couple boxes of aetherdrift several times in the last week. in this video at least twice as well :P possible overpowered set but its got a lot energy mechanics...hrmmmmm....
me too i'm so torn on this topic
Lmao imagine buying sealed product and giving wotc money
This video is full of misunderstanding. First of all, there's no shot Call for Unity is going to be busted, it was a weak bulk rare when it was first printed, and it likely will be again. Your reward for blinking your stuff is that your creatures get an additional +1/+1? That's not strong for 5 mana. "It became an issue", since when?
Also, Attune with Aether was banned from standard because energy as a mechanic was too strong. Energy was too strong because the payoffs for energy were at too good of a rate or were just impossible to interact with. Attune was banned purely because it was the lowest mana cost enabler for energy decks. If they reprint Attune without printing the busted energy payoffs then it's a very weak card compared to Opt that was just reprinted in Foundations. "Also it made cards like Aether Hub very powerful, to the point that only recently has that card come out of older formats because of the banning of things like Attune with Aether in several formats". Bro, what do you mean? Attune was only banned in standard, and who the hell was playing Aether Hub in older formats? There was a brief time that Boros Energy in Modern was playing it since Amped Raptor with Aether Hub allowed you to cast 3 or 4 drops off it's ETB on turn 2. People don't play Aether Hub anywhere, you're just wrong.
thank you for your opinion which is just different from mine. but you should do home work as i played when energy first came out and aether hub and energy was played in modern until we got other cards, yif you actually listen is was a reference to when it came out not now. for example Energy Modern by TacoTimeMachine in 2019 this was after a energy ban in standard of almost every played card 7years ago in standard banning January 15, 2018 Banned and Restricted Announcement - Attune with Aether, Rogue Refiner, Rampaging Ferocidon, Ramunap Ruins banned
When was Call for Unity ever an issue? It's likely to be a 5 mana do nothing and saw 0 play during AR Standard. A card like Hidden Stockpiles was much more prolific.
I am surprised to see Energy come back (it's a 7 on the Storm Scale atm). One big issue is how parasitic it is in design. I guess they think they can solve that issue by flooding the card base with more cards? Can't wait for Arcane to have it's own set when we go back to Kamigawa again
yeah arcane will be sweet i hope
You would loose your mind, not people. Educate yourself with the game before spewing verbal diarrhea.
You might take that advice yourself..lol I love people who think they know history when they didn't play with the originalcards..lol
