    My skin care journey started with seeing your shorts popping up here and there! Six months later I have a set weekly routine when before I used to wash my face with soap and moisturize maybe twice per season? (not exaggerating, truly so, it was like a treat I forgot to give to myself most days but every blue moon I decided to do it). Sunscreen, a little bit whenever I was holidaying somewhere sunny but never reapplied. Now I use it daily even when indoors and the UV is low. It feels nicer to take care of myself and I’m feeling the positive mental health effects of it too. All thanks to you! (Also I feel like most dermatologists online just sound like undercover ads, whilst you almost apologize everytime you mention brand names, makes me truly feel I’m actually getting advice and not just being sold something). Pls get PillowTalkDerm to the UK!

    I am so glad you touched on this! I have been using vitamin c for the past month. I use a vitamin c 15% serum, moisturizer and a turmeric vitamin c cleanser. It’s made my skin glow and pores are nearly invisible. I had textured skin and tried everything, but looks like vitamin c has helped my skin. I don’t have sensitive skin, perhaps it’s the reason it has not irritated it.

    • @kucerka888
      @kucerka888 8 месяцев назад

      @@melisama6113 unfortunately not, my product is in a form of a dropper 🫤. It has 12%. But sadly, it's not my favourite. The texture is a bit sticky, it never absorbs into my face completely. After a few hours my face tends to get a bit itchy and the dried product tends to 'roll' on your face, so it looks like a wet, flaking kin (not everywhere ofc). I stopped using it in the morning completely and sometimes I use it at night so it doesn't go into a waste since it's not exactly cheap.

    Lol, in 2nd grade chemistry we did an experiment with apples and lemon about apple oxidation, and i learned lemon juice's called ascorbic acid; the difference between straight up lemon juice in your skincare product is that when it's off the fruit it also has like minerals and fiber residue. The thing in the bottle you (should) be using is purified lemon juice to isolate the ascorbic acid, then reduced with a ph neutral paste. So the 10%, 20% whatever is actually the total content of lemon juice in relation to the whole weight of the contents of the bottle.
