I received the CD from my wife yesterday... she waited too long to get the signed copies but it just gives me an opportunity to have you sign it in person one day. I wished I was in the UK to come see next year, but if I do not get there... have a delightful tour and please keep the videos coming. Whether it be songs, your thoughts, or my personal favorite, the band... I enjoy the videos and find you delightfully refreshing in this day and age. I have an idea for a video - What to do when things go wrong live.
I had an experience recently where my band were playing live, with a set list.
A media player was providing backing tracks.. except it somehow got put on random track selection!
We managed to muddle through (by improvising!).. but it certainly caught us off guard.. ;)

It's so cool that you got to talk to Gordon Raphael! He's probably the most interesting person I've ever met. He was a friend of a friend back in the '90s, when he used to do synth and sample stuff for a lesser-known Seattle band called Sky Cries Mary. They did manage to get some airplay and a few music videos on MTV, back when that was a thing. Also, one of their songs is in the soundtrack to the movie Tank Girl. Their most accessible album is This Timeless Turning, definitely worth a listen.
I'll be glad to see the back of 2023. It can't end soon enough for me. Both me and my Mum are lucky to be alive (separate incidents). I just want a hospital-free year for both of us in '24. Happy Christmas, Mary.
