I love the cavy crossover. But since i have a limited time to workout i included a simple bodyweight squat.
I'll start with the dumbbell right in front of my foot and squat down to pick it up
Stand back up, do the cross over and squat back down,
let the weight touch the floor in front of my foot and rep it again.
So when i do 10 reps of cross over on each arm i also did 20 bodyweight squats. It really gets my whole body up and running. Just be careful going too heavy at first because you WILL want to cheat the squat and if the weight is too heavy you'll mess your back up. Thanks Jeff for all your knowledge.

it's really hard to say, but they are meant to be done from month 1 to month 18 in order (there are an additional 6 you can't see on his website for people who sign up for the monthly package). like the first month is low volume, heavy lifting to build strength, while the second month is high volume to build muscle and get things rounded out. and each month is centered around a unique technique/approach that takes into account what you did last month. doing them in order really gives you a window into Jeff's mind. it's a heck of a journey. I'm almost done with "the four horsemen" and about to start on the secret months. have you done any programs? you definitely need a good base to start

Literally this is the 10th time that I look for this information for 1 hour everyday for 3 days straight and you post this. It's like your reading my mind or being a psychic. I don't get it, 3 weeks ago I had really bad shoulder pain after a day of chest and triceps probably form bench press. The next day you post a video on all the reasons why you get shoulder pain from bench press. Two days ago I did chest and tris again and cleaned up my bench form and can bench 135 5 reps which may seem small but I'm only 14 years old, 5'7" and 150 pounds. In the past few months I've dropped 10 pounds of pure fat and have about 10 to 14 percent body fat. THANKS JEFF, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

The greatest benefit of his expertise is being able to pass this information on to my son and avoid the poor technique I learned 20 years ago. Thanks Jeff.

I wish they taught this stuff in gym/health class. But I guess that's what this channel's for... I think the focus in society should be on LEARNING not WHERE you learn. If you can learn and memorize and research everything that's taught in college or school, outside of college or school, why should school be manditory and college be so recommended? If you can become as smart as a straight A student who goes to an upper class college while living in a shoe box, why should employers only be concerned about your test scores and degrees? If you're smart enough to do the job, or any other job, why are college stats the only way to prove it...? Didn't mean to make a long comment it's just something that makes no sense to me.

I think the whole education system is flawed. More than half the stuff you learn is of no use. I much rather learn how to take things apart and put them back together. I think reading writing and math is necessary but 12 yrs of history should not be mandatory. Why not teach skills and make that mandatory.

Hello Mr. Jeff I just wanted to say thank you for mentioning the twisting push-up. It has been one of my favorite exercises for a while now, but whenever I show it to someone I usually get either the “well the form is different than the normal push-up so it must be worse” or the “why would I want to do that when I can just do the bench press” response. Jeff i really like your video’s, that said i can't help but notice that every week you have a group of haters who give you a thumbs down. Why ?. They view your latest video every week to give you a thumbs down ? If they dont like what you do why do they keep comming back just to give you a thumbs down? No life maybe ? Some of your material is great info and others is stuff i already know but still like what you do and keep comming back for more. If i get uninterested then i will just simply leave or not watch.. It amazes me how certain people feel the need to tell you every week that they dont like your stuff...Anyways, 52 yrs old and in the best shape ive everbeen just by applying your principles, starting to see my abs and i thank you for this....keep up the good work...your great and thats my opinion. I’ll do like the haters and keep comming back every week to give you a thumbs up !

When doing a twist push-up, at the point when your left pec is closer to the ground, the right pec is supposed to be worked out, it is the one which is in full contraction, but at that point, you seem to raise your right hand from the ground, thus failing to work out the right pec in full contraction (and you do the same also with the left pec), wth?

I've just started back working out after not having worked out for 15 years, so I'm in pretty bad shape. I'm in my fourth week back at working out. I've been using machines, because I don't have a workout partner to spot me. For my chest, two of the exercises I'm doing are a dual axis chest press, and a dual axis incline press, but I've been doing the simple movement (just pushing straight forward). Thanks for this video, it helps me understand why I need to be doing the more advanced movement, bringing my hands together as I press. I'll start working on getting that correct.
