Hello, I have a question. I heard people say omnisphere is worth the price, while I hear some say it's overrated. Should I buy omnisphere or something different like analog. Which synth has more synth/joeyy ambient kind of sounds?
omnisphere is great and very versatile imo, but you can make pretty much any vst sound ambient using reverb. I think the most affordable / value for money would be serum, there are so many great free serum banks on the internet. have fun + make your own presets in any vsts you already have, thats the best way to sound unique and learn
When you're in your piano roll, are your notes to the actual octave? I swear when you're going down to like A2 at 1:11 your melody doesn't sound that bass-y. Is that just you EQ-ing?
it could be the hipass i had on it, idk if your using fl studio but ive noticed from watching fl studio tutorials that the octaves are different. producers will be writing melodies in the 5th octave & it sounds to me like what the 3rd octave sounds like in ableton

Omnisphere has a lot of good ambient textures but I would say Zenology is better for these kinds of melodies considering it's free :)
@@_w1n7na zenology free?
