@@malpercio123 i'd argue that they very much do harm the ending. The MCI kids are still possessing shit, Charlie's still around, Cassidy's still around, Afton's back, Michael's inside Freddy... it's seems the only permanent thing that Henry achieved in that fire was killing himself.
@@littleredruriAs much as I love SB, I do agree. I think the only character that should've come back is William and Micheal. Because "I always come back" is a shtick I actually like- And Micheal kinda needs to be back in order for Freddy's story to make sense. Or maybe instead of Micheal being in Freddy it could be one of the missing children at SB. I think SB should've just been about Clara starting the company to sustain herself and William bringing himself back to life because of his selfishness. The missing children at SB possess the glamrocks. And I think Gregory could just be like a sibling of one of the missing kids, so he would fit in somewhere. But idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Kids in the 80s tended to have a lot more independence, since both parents were usually both at work and couldn't afford any kind of afterschool care. We were still in "go outside and don't come back until the street lights are on" era of parenting, as well. So the idea of kids going to the local Fazbear's to hang out after school is not that unusual by 80s standards. Arcades were an incredibly common hangout spot for us.
I still find it funny that most people immediately try to hate on matpat for his fnaf theories but like the guys is literally one of the reason why this community grew and the reason its as big as it is nowadays
He is a big reason the story and these games are so big but that also makes it so whatever he says has a major impact on how people see the story so when he says something wrong his fans will simply accept it which leads to leaps in logic and contradictory information to be accepted into the story
All those people are doing are just spreading toxicity and hate, simply because a THEORY doesn’t fit in with their version of events. It’s honestly so disheartening to see that I just avoid the community altogether and enjoy the franchise on my own.
I do hear people saying episode one sounds too much like a fanfic, but I feel like he did this video more for people that have no idea where to start and wanted to tell an interesting story. It got everyone talking in the comments so I’d say it worked
I'd probably say Episode 4 is WAY more heavily Fanon than 1. Or really anything past 2? Episode 1 has some stretches/wrong info, but the Singing Bear aspect IS at least rooted in info we get ingame, and is a fairly simple conclusion. "William sees singing bears as a kid, wants to have one but the business ate shit. Makes his own Singing Bear, and a Rabbit too. Possibly even kept a poster from one of the old shows."
@@higueraft571 i've read many theories, it's funny to see how everyone is so adamant about their headcanons they want to dismiss each other theories calling them headcanons and flawed. May i remind you he's read the books over and over again and these videos take a ton of time, not to mention making the entire script. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Mat isn't wrong, he's just not proven to be 100% right, just as anyone else coming up with theories (specially most of the theories because they are way too illogical). If anything, i encourage you to actually read the books for yourself and read many many different theories without your preconceived ideas of what is wrong or right, because they are all theories in the end, nobody is right until Scott says so.
@@rRekko Yeeeah, the problem is, this theory at least, is by far nowhere near logical :V It relies upon, for example, "you arent actually playing on the dates shown and you're actually SEVERAL years away, also FNAF 2 is actually TWO separate time periods, even though the building hasnt aged at all", just to make the "Phantoms are actually proof he burned down the FNAF 1/2 locations" work. Except even FNAF 3 alone has problems with this. Springtrap isnt burnt, the Puppet isnt burnt, and all of the decorations arent burnt either... This of course doesnt mention the implications that Michael *had* a motive by FNAF 2 and 1 that is not Sister Location, which *is* less concrete and more a vague hint (primarily the FNAF 6 poster that i can think of) but still implied. (Michael the Puppet, William the Puppetmaster) And, again, not mentioning the "Bite of 83" = "Multiple Simultaneous Springlock Failures" error And finally, yes, i HAVE watched/read a shitload of theories. Some are certainly out there, some are closer to how i see things going down, or similar but with a different path. A good few *certainly* have strong evidence that could go either way (eg the "Duo GFreddy" vs "Two GFreddies" theories) Matpat's is simply one of the more *out there* ones, which REALLY stretches to explain itself/try to minimize all loose threads, even the nonsensical ones...

ALRIGHT LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR: you do not NEED to kill kids to get remnant. It can be harvested from living people, it just won’t be as much as from a dead or murdered child. That’s why the animatronic shipping company never went out of business. They weren’t killing anyone, they were just gathering remnant very very slowly.
This is correct, from what I understand Remnant is a manifestation of positive memories just given a sciency explanation. Shadowy Remnant, or Agony is a scientific manifestation of negative memories.

1:27:54 “The One You Should Not Have Killed” is referring to the Child that got him caught and had been mutilated worse then any of the other times. Cassidy’s death was probably his worst and sloppiest kill up to this point. That’s why William shouldn’t have killed them. I hope this helps clarify who Cassidy is in the story and their purpose of being “The One You Should Not Have Killed”.
It's debatable if TOYSHNK is Cassidy, but the simplest conclusion is that: He stuffed TOYSHNK in the Fredbear suit in Suit Mode. The Springlocks went off, they dies a particularly brutal death as William later does. Two Years Later, he wears the Fredbear suit for the DCI incident, forcing TOYSHNK to "participate" unable to stop him as he does it AGAIN. I doubt she was the sloppiest, or he went Street Fighter on her IN A FAZBEAR LOCATION WHILE IT'S OPEN...
Fun fact: The reason why he's purple is due to something called "livor mortis" which is discoloration of the skin in corpses. Michael so happens to be a walking stinking corpse

I really hate how true this is. Hurts even more that that kind of incompetence is still seen today but more as a result of discrimination and police corruption than sheer stupidity.
Also seems weird that after the events of Elizabeth being killed by baby and if crying child saw that and was obviously traumatised that the brother would be cruel enough to continue to bully him for his understandable fear of animatronics and then put him in the mouth of one. It would make more sense for his fear to be off something smaller, something they would only make sense for a child to come up with, relating back to the whole “what is seen in the eyes of a child can be easily misunderstood”
Particularly since it's specifically an animatronic thing, like say "he saw a man being "eaten" by a suit, reinforced by the ideas another kid put in his head".
You seem to underestimate how cruel children can truly be. An older brother having to basically be his little brother's dad will hold a lot of resentment, especially if another sibling has already died and the family is basically in ruin. Children aren't meant to take care of other children. I'm not trying to say that's what happened, but I'm saying it's quite possible and does happen. Children can be ruthless when dealing with trauma.

The Springlocks dont have ANY conflicting lore (unless you count the Graphic Novel's depiction of them for the Game Lore, and even then...), so it's reasonable to assume they're exactly the same as FNAF 3. And Scott, in regards to Matpat's "Mrs Afton is in Ballora" theory, stated she isnt planned to be a Major Character, and hasnt taken part, after SL had released. No ingame lore has "conflicted" with his statement, and the Book lore (which, could even be game lore? Probably not, if that MAfton is who we think it is. Is Henry in Freddy? No clue, but it IS possible. Is CC in Freddy? Also possible, arguably even a bit probable... Did WA use GFreddy for DCI (if it occurred), pretty likely considering he activates that night, and it's give A potential cause for TOYSNHK being so Vengeful (alongside potentially even a Springlocking...). Where's CC now, where's TOYSHNK, is CC's name Cassidy? Is TOYSHNK's name Andrew? Who's speaking in the Logbook? etc. THOSE are theories, there's several potential answers, based on the lore we have, with some being seemingly more solid than others, but any really being possible. They DO NOT directly contradict what we are shown or told, they may raise more questions, but they do not blatantly disregard what we've been shown. Generally, the only certain cases of Retcons i can list off are: - Charlie died in FNAF 2, not the Boy. - Michael is the protag of FNAF 4's nights, not CC. - Happiest Day (maybe?) - Someone being arrested (via FNAF 1 Newspaper Articles) To quote above: "While video surveliance identified the man responsible and led to his capture the following morning, the children themselves were never found and are presumed dead." "While the suspect has been charged, the bodies themselves were never found." - (Possibly) DCI - *Exact* mechanics of Remnant pre-SL(?) Now, please for the love of god, before you say anything... Give me some examples of lore that contradict Scott's statement on Mrs Afton not being a major character OR how the Springlocks work? Or lore that puts the Multiple Simultaneous Springlock Failures (and the soon-following MCI) in 1983, rather than 1985, as Matpat claimed.

About the whole “collecting remnant” thing during the 4th video… In the FNAF AR game on mobile phones, you collect glowing floating particles around your immediate area. These particles are called Remnant. In other words, bits and pieces of people’s souls float in the air all around us, and via the Special Delivery Service, it is harvested back to Fazbear Entertainment. So no, kids weren’t being murdered by the hundreds by animatronics. Unless you count getting jump-scared by animatronics in-game as someone being mauled to death and their soul energy being harvested, but eh. Semantics.
If there is anything I learned from this theory, it’s that game lore can take the most strangest turns. Like seriously, imagine being William and saying “I liked to be around kids, took them away from family and friends, needed more kids, and all of a sudden I’m now immortal.”
I always find it funny how confidently the people in chat can be when saying "MatPat got that wrong", when literally NO ONE can agree what is even relevant, yet alone correct, information in this fandom xD Until recently, people completely dismissed the books! And now low and behold, it turns out some of them ACTUALLY are lore relevant for what we see in the games. Every new release gives us new information and retcons old one, and some of the information we get from official sources aren't even acurate! Just look at the recently released encyclopidia, that holds both info that we asume to be correct, and info that we know for a fact is inacurate, as well as just...completely useless "info", AND SPECULATIONS! And just look at our first problem child when it comes to the games: FNAF 4! Scot himself admited that the story/solution changed AT LEAST once, becouse he thought fans wouldn't be satisfied! We have no idea what the original intent was, we don't know what it changed to, we don't even know if it changed again. All that we know for a fact, is that it changed becouse "fans would be unsatisfied". So concidering the franchise itselfe can't agree on what is what when it comes to the details, I find it absolutely mindbogeling that people can confidently say "No this is wrong" whenever someone tries to put the pieces together! Becouse apart from the most basic building stones (for example kids getting murdered, purple guy beeing the murderer, dying and becoming Springtrap, location names and spirits posessing robots,...) we have NO idea if ANY of the information we have got interpretated right by anyone, yet alone if those interpretations will still be correct when the next game comes out. This franchise is called "frustrating" for a reason! xD

We’ve been devoted to this franchise for near on 10 years of course we have our own biases and headcanons Not to mention the divide over the books some of us think there good for lore making, some don’t care but tend ru prefer the games for info and some of us despise them for existing and don’t want to accept stuff that’s built off them 17 books is too much and in the after video stream hosted 2 days ago not even the main theorists want them (team theorists, Dawko and a bunch of smaller new guys) they are confusing, flux in relevance and take so long to read that even the guy payed to read them all is having trouble keeping up
As someone who has been in Fnaf since the beginning, I can say something: Fandom has gone from being a solid group trying to solve canon together to a group of fanfiction writers who don't want to hear anyone but themselves. They believe that no one but them can solve canon. And if someone releasing a theory that doesn't fit their vision. It's automatically a garbage theory. Even if they have cited a lot of evidence for that theory. And if you ask why that theory is wrong, the only evidence they will provide is that I "feel" it isn't right. Or that it "doesn't sound logical." Yes. In a fandom with ghosts, glitches, remnant and all that (which makes 99% of the whole plot illogical) they are trying to shove logic in (=_=) There are a lot of details to explain, but I'll try to do it quickly. 1) They hate Mat simply because he prevents them from doing whatever they want with canon. And they discount it all on his illogic, craziness, and that he's the best fanfiction writer. Even though fnaf theories have always been illogical and crazy and always sounded like fanfiction. And that was the case with all the theorists and not just Mat. Or the fact that they have a whole society of theorists out there. And Mat never created the theories on his own. It was always a common work. But for some reason it is always Mat who takes the blame. They just use him as a scapegoat. There an example of a man on the Stream watching Mat's video about DDLC. Where he talked about what people from Reddit found in the files of this game. And what do you think - half of all people on streapm complained about the craziness of MAT. And that it was too crazy to solve so he's crazy. They totally didn't care that it wasn't even his job. And he was just an announcer. It was still his fault. 2)Some of them don't even bother to watch his video. Because somewhere in there they heard one phrase without any context or proof. It made them angry and they immediately called him crazy and banned themselves from watching his videos at all. And that's how most of the fandom is. They solve canon not by relying on the evidence they find. They rely on their own feelings. Very often you can meet a person who will consider non-canon as canon simply because it seems more true or logical to them, or because they like it better. 3)They couldn't care less about things that have ruined fandom for years. So. How do you think the canon of a game full of mysteries should be solved? Correct. People will solve it gradually and reinforce what they've already solved. For example in Dark Souls. People have solved the mystery of fire cycles. That they repeat, etc. And they all know about it. But it's not like that in Fnaf. There's no single source of canon from which to learn the original. No one defends what has already been solved. And yes now some will say that - the plot is too obscure to consider it canon. Here's the trick - even those things that have been disproved by absolutely everyone still exist. And sometimes even more popular than canon. I'll give you an example on everyone's favorite Cassidy. The first is Wiki. For years, Wiki promoted completely wrong theories. And no one cared. Absolutely no one. And so for years Wiki has been telling everyone that Cassidy and the Crying Child are the same person. Which is fundamentally wrong. They are totally two different characters. And here I'll give you an example of a situation I've encountered myself. And at the same time it will tell you about the second point I mentioned above. "Cassidy is too lame to exist as a separate character. I went to screenwriting school and I don't believe Scott could have created such a character. That's why Cassidy is C.C.(a simplification of his name - Crying Child)." (And at this time Scott, who often used ideas from fans and theories - ummmmmmmm....) I'll also mention another example. And a fairly common one at that. A person not familiar with fnaf want to make a video. For the sake of knowing the plot he goes where? Right. He goes to find out the story on the wiki. Where he learns the wrong theories. And if he dares to mention those wrong theories. Or puts Cassidy's name anywhere near the C.C. in his video, he'll be quartered on the spot. (And then everyone wonders why fnaf fandom is considered toxic and crazy. You're the ones who let the false information leak out. And then the same beating those who are this false information find and use. Even if their own fault that this info get there.) Second - Cassidy herself. People are still fighting over her gender and appearance. Until now. Despite the fact that we've had a rough description of her since 2018. And in 2021 we got an official picture of her. But no one is aware of them. Even more part of people say that these proofs are too petty and that it's not canon (meanwhile, to make William even more bad they're willing to use any little thing) 4) And here I get to the main cause of all this. People's love of absolutizing everything. Most of the characters have been twisted because of this. William who from an overworked father who just doesn't have enough time to pay attention to his family and who started it all because of jealousy and grief. Also, who found out about the remnant right after one of his children died. Into a soulless monster who experimented on his family. Started doing it all for fun and frivolity. Planned it all from the time he was in diapers. And always knew about the remnant. Or Henry - who from not a very good father who buys his child's attention with toys and then leaves her to be raised by those same toys in order to disappear to work for a long time again. And who, after his daughter's death, probably start drinking. In the holy angel who was the best father in the whole world and who haunted William the whole time after his daughter's death. It's a total mess. Well... i'm don't think i get it quickly. But i tried (=_=)
@@fireninetailsthere still many people that believe that cc is the one you play FNAF four when there the phone call and nightmare drawing he did that leans Micheal heavily as the one
@@jmurray1110nah i remember most of the books it obvious that some things are probably canon in both timelines the monster thing that Springtrap turns into is probably obviously non canon
23:39 You're _fervently_ worrying at this particular plot point, especially when MatPat never says Henry's bad for doing so, just that William got angry and jealous.
1:26 Missed opportunity to say "Of course they're not gonna get everything right, but I think that that's fine because it's just a theory, a game theory."
3:45 I lived near a Chuck E Cheese's that was only smaller than the nearby grocery store _because_ the store had a deli big enough to act as a diner, a huge pharmacy, _and_ everything else you'd expect in an upscale grocery store. It was basically a mini mall all on its own. The Charles Entertainment Cheese palace was big enough they had one of those giant hamster tube playhouses with two different slides that led into a ball pit, a full stage with animatronics, about six of those long tables that could seat like 20 people per side, and the entire other half was a full-on arcade with every game I'd ever seen in it. Getting to have your birthday _there_ basically made you God for a few weeks. Not even the incorrigible bullies at my elementary school would bully you around your birthday if it meant they _might_ get invited. (They never did, because they were _bullies,_ but good on them for being optimists, I guess)
Based on what I understand between Afton and Emily’s business relationship, I believe that William Afton was in charge more on the business side of the franchise, where is Henry was the technical guy yes, they work together from time to time bouncing ideas off each other and experimenting on things. They both essentially ran different sides of the business. So when Afton came back to the re-opening as a security guard, my belief is that Henry was in the shop, doing more experimenting trying to make sure that everything was running smoothly to pay attention to new hires, which is where I think that Afton slipped in to kill the kids in the new location. It’s also possible that Afton used a fake name and the guy at the time who was running the business side of Freddys would have possibly never have met Afton so he would not know what he look like, and Afton, and slip in to do his murdering.
I saw comments saying they removed the endo when he asked about the weight of the Springlock suit, and I have to say that isn't true, the point of a springlock suit is to have the Animatronic parts be held back by spring locks. Otherwise if the endo was removed then how did the suit kill William and how did the endo get back in after he was springlocked? The full endo is in there, it's held back by spring locks when not in Animatronic form
The locks are held back, not the Endo skeleton. The locks hold the skeleton in place while it's there, and are retracted so the wearer goes in because they'd be too big for the locks to work around. When the locks activate with someone inside they shoot into the body of the person in the suit, probably bone deep because that's around the area a Endo skeleton would be, and "Lock" the suit in place.
@Djdyn0 The locks, hold and press the endo up against the outer chassis, so a person can slip in and wear it. The point of the Springlocks is to hold all the Animatronic parts inside the suit
@@CasuallyConversate As mentioned by someone else, that's what NORMAL Suits do. They're shells with crossbars and wires that an Endo "locks" into. Infact the crossbars are required since the endo alone cant hold the entire thing together. Springlocks are capable of switching back and forth at any time, simply crank the Springlocks back, step in, and you're good to go. When you want it back in Animatronic mode? Simply get out, and disengage the Springlocks, and all the parts will snap into place. Normal Endos are NOT part of the suit, Springlock Endos ARE. This is how William even dies, the Springlock is ramming those Endo parts into every single part of him...
Fun fact (assuming it wasn’t mentioned before) many people already know this but the image of the Indie dev is actually a real photo of the series creator Scott Cawthon (MatPat also mentioned that the indie dev was one of many just trying to find success working on their games “between shifts at the Dollar General” supposedly, this was the exact position Scott was in IRL before the success of FNAF. He was actually working at a Dollar General at the time (from what I hear) )
Fun fact: Matpat lost his mind as fnaf security breach Ruin has destroyed the final timeline video as in the basement there was the mimic. Who has the same endoskeleton as Burntrap.
6:20: Actually, in the bottom of the screen it told you how much money that was. 50 Cents was equivalent to 9 Bucks; a Dollar would set you back _18 Dollars_ (NOT counting food). In that sense, Fredbear's Singin' Show was as good as Barnum and Bailey's, but at half the price! It honestly couldn't be beat.
Fun fact: The family staff bots all represent well, the family's latest state. The mother is okay. Crying child has his head torn off. Micheal is a security guard. (His latest state before he died) Elizabeth is baby. (Her latest state also) And william is gone.
To the person in the chat saying CC is Mike, and that is has been confirmed... no it hasn't been, no such confirmation exists, anywhere... and the era of when everyone THOUGHT CC was Mike had me completely baffled because that made no sense. There are 3 Afton children. We learn about 2 of them in FNAF 4 (before we even learn the name Afton), and the 3rd in SL (when we learn the name of Afton). SL is also when we are introduced to the name Mike. By SL, CC has died and we learn about the sister's death (I can't remember when the name Elizabeth was first put in to the games... might have been as late as 6). There is only one Afton child remaining alive. Who else could Michael be but the older brother, the one still alive?! He wasn't a realistic looking robot... he was a decomposing corpse by the end of the game. Mike =/= CC, never did, never could... And before the security log book gets brought in to things, that's already been explained... Mike owns the book, his writing is in red, but two spirits (Cassidy and CC) are communicating to each other using the book. The book doesn't show Mike being CC... it actually shows the opposite, that CC is dead and a spirit using his "living" brother's book to communicate with another spirit.
I saw that comment in the video chat as well! And honesty, kind of pissed me off. Simply becouse of the gal of claiming it has been "confirmed" that Mike is CC. Becouse that never happened! Not in the games, not in any of the metta stuff like source codes or Scott himselfe, not even in the books! Claiming that that has been "confirmed" is just straight up lying! And lying with confidence on top!
They must not have seen the episode where the second spirit in the book replies to the ghost text, clearly disproving the whole reason for that theory in the first place. (Which was the idea that there was only Mike and the ghost text involved, and so the ghost text asking questions for the CC, and so the CC must be Mike.)
@@gameuniverse5973 Okay, but one of those "styles" is by changing the printed text in the book to be something else, which is not something a living person can do, and whoever Mike is, he is living (or "living" after Sister Location). That's HOW we know Mike is the owner of the book, and writes in red text, Cassidy is one of the spirits in the book and writes in... faded text, I forget the color, and CC is the other spirit in the book, responding to Cassidy's questions through changing the text that's already printed in the book...
I honestly think we’re really close to getting everything right Like we have the start pretty well figured out And we have the end pretty well figured out But that DAMN middle is very confusing and frustrating
I think Scott had no idea what he was writing, the story doesnt make sense. He wrote to write, not to write a cohesive story. If I recall correctly didnt Scott say that Mat has gotten in Scotts way with writing before and the other way around. It make sense for him to write against what we know, because that will yield more theories. More theories = more engagement with your game More engagement = more sales Its how FNAF got popular in the first place due to RUclips. Dont mean to complain about Scott, he's had rough enough of a live but I don't feel like FNAF is meant to be understood.
So with the sister location timing problem, someone did bring up the theory that perhaps michael got scooped before william was springlocked and mike was searching for his father and was just a step behind him searching for william as william was probably in hiding at that point. Matt admitted that the idea didn't occur to him and didn't seem to flow narratively to him as it left a lot of time after the springlock issue until the next event, admitting that it was his own bias, but does solve some problems with the timing. Mike was obviously much older than the younger child and if he was 14 in '83, he would be 18 by '87.
It's quite surprising to me how so many people misunderstand simple lines like "That one, he shouldn't have killed" Like damn, a lot more people don't have reading comprehension than I realized
My favorite part about this is that William coming back after ultimate custom night means he beat it. This bastard was locked in his own personal hell, and then beat it on max 20 mode. Evil Chad vibes
I think it wasnt mean to be like that William is still down there it's always gave me a little a I downloaded my mind into a robot kinda thing the real William is dead but this fake one is being spread around
I don’t know if I was ever really as invested in Fnaf’s lore as others. I always had to watch others play it, with the screen minimized, cuz I don’t always do well with jump-scares. Game 1 looks bearable, but Game 2 always looked stressful since there’s double the number of animatronics to manage. Game 3, I was always terrified of Springtrap’s jumpscare scenes, and 4th, also just not a fan of the even sharper teeth. I did however, always like the fan songs here on RUclips. Natewantstobattle’s song “Nightmare” is so good, and there’s also “Circus of the Dead”, and the songs by LivingTombstone.
I have no clue how you didn't know the Afton family was British until now spring-trap has an aggressively British accent in almost every depiction of his voice he has an over-the-top British villains voice
Actually you do play as Mike for the original click team fusion games. Except the second one, where you play as Jeremy Fitzgerald for the first five nights and Mike for the 6th and Custom nights.
One thing that annoys me about the Timeline is he left out the MASSIVE detail that charlie possessed the puppet and thats how the puppet brings the souls to life.
@@katiebugbu3 did you watch this video or the actual matpat one? Cause I've watched the matpat one thrice and I'm pretty sure he clearly stated how Henry Emily's daughter got trapped outside, killed, then the security puppet found her, then he go on about how it's not really clear but it sure does look like it, then another one where he showed the puppet gave the soul new life inside the animatronics
I believe cassidy is the "one you should not have killed" because he tortured her. Afton killed the other kids pretty fast and painlessly, but he brutalized Cassidy to the point she was unrecognizable.
Really fun watch ngl, as long as you direct your eyes away from chat at all times cuz I swear the amount of actual children screaming "ERM ACTUALLY THAT PART OF THE THEORY IS WRONG BECAUSE I KNOW THAT BLEHBLBEHBLE" is mind-numbing. But I suppose that's just chat

Okay but this is genuinely something I've always thought about. What if William and Henry were both veterans of WW2 Their trauma felt in the war led to them creating these machines as a way to atone and bring joy to everyone else. Henry was always paranoid and made security measures that everyone else saw extreme. William was rageful and lashed out at Charlie after his life was ruined and his family was lost.

The idea that ghosts can’t kill you is a modern invention. In most folklore, there are vengeful ghosts like Onryō, the Green Lady, and La Llorona, who can physically murder you if they catch you. I met a man who claimed a ghost from the French and Indian War hit him with an axe. I don’t know if it’s true, but the scar on the back of his head was real enough.
watching the chat at the first bit is so frustrating LMAO. "isn't this just fanfiction" well isn't that technically what a theory is? every fnaf and any game theory is just 'fan' 'fiction' as in, it's the fan's fictional imagination of the game to maybe solve a part of the game or make it a little clearer and less opaque, or even just to have fun! even then, mat's theory of afton's origins is still probably the most logical (I don't know if anyone else has had any other theory of it) and it probably is even true! (we'll probably never know though). the point is, it's just a theory, and he's not cementing it as truth. the fact that all these people blame mat for his theories is mind boggling, because the ones that praise and tell them as truth are the audience.
Admittedly one problem: It's not a theory if it's completely factually false, and is presented as a possibility. The Bite of 83 was never a Springlock Failure, despite his claim. Mrs Afton, by Scott's own Words, is not a Major Player in the story. A Theory, typically, tends to be a potential solution meant to give a solution to what's been shown/depicted. Some may be more of a stretch/baseless than others, in some cases there's loose ends that contradict the theory to some degree, but typically they tend to obey the Canon most of the time. Matpat isnt making a Theory, he's making Fanon. He knows several parts are impossible with the Lore given, and directly fly in the face of EVERYTHING being told, yet he presents it as if it's a Theory... Ooftroop is making a "Timeline", yet that's made clear it's simply satire of the Timeline, and that while it DOES give some canonical info, it's Just a Story you're meant to enjoy, it's not a Theory :V I'd disagree however with the Singing Bear part in Part 1 being "Fanon" however, as that IS a legitimate (if stretching) conclusion to make. There's a poster that seems to be loosely tied to Fredbear's, with a fairly easy to pin time period it'd occur, and a potential motive for Afton to even make the franchise to begin with. It'd fill in the gap of how the location began, without contradicting anything in the lore, using actual hard evidence we DO have and the straightforward conclusions from that evidence.
@@higueraft571 ah i see, thanks for the explanation. i think mat's probably going to change some things, since i think even he himself wasn't sure with many things, and since the videos were only meant to give a coherent timeline for everyone to follow, but yeah it's sort of misleading.
I think that's evidence that the funtimes are more rudimentary than they seem. Sure, they're all chrome and have these cool faceplates that move and use carbon fiber wires for structure, but at their core, they are still 80's technology with basic programming. The idea of programming is something I suspect is much more important to this series than anyone seems to think. Time and time again we're given some sort of programming based explanation for why the animatronics attack us or work with the mechanics we're given. Such as the thinking you're an endo without a costume in 1, or the Freddy mask in 2, or the BB sounds in 3. Sure, they sound like garbage company "make something up" explanations, but then the animatronics actually follow through with those explanations in the end. Even if they are posessed by ghosts, they still have to follow their programming directives at the end of the day. I also happen to think they can also influence that programming to an extent to see something like a nightguard in an office as an endoskeleton to suit their needs on occasion, but they need to follow through with their programming directives.
16:01 my friend, the "two sets of teeths" are the layers of the animatronics, the endo skeleton, the thing that makes them move on their own, are the inner teeth parts, and the quote on quote "second layer" is the mask's teeth.
Whenever I need to get something done, like work on a project for multiple hours, I put on the entire playlist of game theory's FNAF videos and rewatch them. For some reason it really helps me get stuff done
The second video makes it sound like this: afton makes his dream come true and makes the bears, some company does the sane, he gets mad but gets pulled into that company, gets mad kills kids, gets kicked out, then nakes new anemetronics that are way more advanced, but oh wait, that whas actually hiw it all started and baby whas the first kid to go.
The way I tend to justify in my head how Michael survived the Scooper: when Ennard removed his organs and jumped inside of him, he essentially became an animatronic suit. And a spirit can haunt a suit in this universe, so the way I see it, he's just possessed himself. (And if any of you try to say "No, they possess the endoskeletons, not the suits", then I will point you to Golden Freddy.) And I just realized that the Ennard situation might be a payoff to Phone Guy's Night 3 call from the first game, where he suggests acting like an empty costume before realizing, "they might try to stuff a metal skeleton into you... I wonder how that would work...."
The blueprint for the scooper says that it can both extract and inject remnant into things and that's how Michael survived. He was given spirit metal that now flows through his veins. He didn't die when it happened, and so he gets to keep his full consciousness and not be a twitching mess of souls mindlessly scuttling around.
Circus Baby says "You won't die" 80 times and Michael says "They thought I was you" to William and since Elizabeth practically worships her father it would stand to reason she gave Michael some remnant thinking he was William to save his life
Yes, I know that it was remnant that saved him, but I just have fun thinking about it this way, and it's also how I might make it slightly easier for a newcomer to understand how it happened.
@@MattTOB618 Honestly, if you wanted to take a similar idea to TOYSHNK is keeping William alive... And that CC is in the Fredbear suit. CC was in Ennard, and when it left he possessed Michael, at the behest of his Sister. Keeping him Held Down (probably for different reasons) much like TOYSHNK does.
Honestly, matpat has been streamlining his theories more and more over the years, at first being right on the money most of the time, but he slowly leaned toward a narratively satisfying plot rather than a plot that made sense with the characters established, to the point where he split the fnaf fandom with the last video, his fans (with most of their info coming from his videos) defending him, and the rest of the community, who see it as more of a fanfiction than a timeline due to how many made up aspects there are.
However, the "rest of the community" also cannot create any compelling narrative out of the clues. I don't think it is matpat's fault, but FNAF itself, keep trying to be as vague as possible so ppl keep talking about it. He only tried to create a narrative that made the most sense out of some clues. Remember, matpat is probably one of the people that know this franchise in and out, because he definitely does research for his theories. At least respect his hardwork.
To clarify: Scott had been in a slump of releasing games to very mixed reactions. The game right before FNAF, Chipper and Son's Lumber Co., was panned for many things, including the characters looking and moving like possessed Chuck-E-Cheese animatronics. He was considering quitting game development altogether, but he decided to make one more game, and that animatronic comment stuck out in his mind. If he was able to make ACCIDENTALLY creepy characters, then why not make them PURPOSEFULLY creepy? And thus, FNAF 1 began development.
@MattTOB And now 8 years, and (undoubtedly) millions of dollars later, he's still riding that train by stringing along some internet nutjob who gives the corkboard with red string all over it meme meaning.
The fact that this fnaf 1 - through security breach took a decade to get the lore kind of together is crazy and still scott isn't fucking done HES JUST BEGINNING GOD I SWEAR THIS IS GONNA LAST ATLEAST ANOTHER DECADE.
you should also understand that there’s been multiple points since fnaf’s release where we have considered ourselves having a full timeline, notably after fnaf 3 and again after ultimate custom night. new stuff just keeps getting added, changing things we thought we knew and adding more confusing elements to the story
1:31:43 Welcome to FNaF! Grab your complimentary headache relief and forget your understanding of literally anything else, because FNaF lore will always be confusing.
I love how Pat during the FNaF 6 ending speech had the same reaction as every fan of FNaF: "Oh shit, that's a great speech, a good ending of the game franchise and William", and then when it continued, just like everyone, there was a disappointment.
Honestly for some, it's likely "they hate the fact he claims it's a Timeline/Theory" :V When it DOES involve extremely considerable amounts of "Fanon", ESPECIALLY every single part that involves Mrs Afton, really. The sort that directly contradicts *everything* Scott and the Games and the Book has told us :V Not to mention the Bite of 83 being "Multiple Simultaneous Springlock Failures"
I'm pretty sure, funnily enough, right after MatPat released the final video in the timeline, just a few days later, a new book release dropped a GIANT lore bomb that shook things up even further (this being the MIMIC reveal).
That frostor guy in the chat that kept saying wrong info and pretending like they were right 💀 "William abused his daughter, michael wasn't the guard in fnaf 3" are some examples
I've already clarified this, so i'll just copy-paste from another comment: The "William abused his Daughter" aspect i CAN tell you where he got it from. In the Trilogy he actually DOES directly (full hand) slap his daughter for interrupting him while he's working. Followed by her attempts to get his attention by dressing up as Baby/Adult Charlie and such. Which DOES match the level of attention/validation-seeking we see in the games... If he was speaking through the plushie, that also covers abuse for his youngest son CC too, constantly telling him how much his brother hates him, how he wants CC to suffer, to remember "what you saw" and using that fear to guide him around. ...and of course the idea that William Tormented (and later puppeted) his eldest son after CC's death. Possibly even beforehand, but that's pretty shaky/more speculation than anything with proof. Now as for "Michael not the Night Guard", i dont remember which youtuber pitched the idea, but basically that theory suggests that HENRY was actually there in the FNAF 3 location, not Michael. And that after he failed in 3, he created the FNAF 6 location and tried again. Not too in agreement with this one, but it IS a theory...
@@higueraft571 Yea but the books aren't canon, they do share a lot of similarities and give some insight on the whole robot children thing, but we can't really say that william abuses his daughter from an alternate timeline version of him, im just annoyed by the guy's tone and completely confidence in his facts
@@higueraft571 Also they clarified where they got the whole "Michael isnt in fnaf 3" thing, its because on of the fazbear frights books has a story where a guard gets killed by springtrap, they must've thought this was fully canon or something
@@Chompling Fair, but again i will say: They ARE Canon, Scott's said as much. They're different Continuities however. And they ARE meant to "shed light" on aspects of the games... The problem more is "Does this actually relate to something in the games, or is this book-specific, or is this a book parallel TO something in-game? Or is this completely unrelated like the Mpregtrap story" And now you can see why it's a hellish pit :V
My feeling about this timeline is it's not the best or correct feel like there are many plotholes in there BUT with narrative wise this is the most comprehensible fnaf theory out there
So to explain the spring lock suits a bit more since he didn’t cover it to much, the spring lock suits don’t react well to liquid, that’s why it clamped on the crying child and it clamped on Henry within a abandoned restaurant with water dripping from the ceiling most likely getting into the suit
Hard disagree there is no way fredbear jaw was using spring locks it had to by hydrolics If it was in suit mode maybe maybe that could be why but that’s animatronic mode so they are disengaged
@@jmurray1110huh no it has spring locks always it takes you to pull a switch to make it to suit mode which does not get rid of the spring locks it only pushes the endoskeleton away it always has spring locks in either mode which can be activated with a liquid source
@@gameuniverse5973 while it may still have spring locks they would only be engaged when in suit mode They were designed to force the endo skeleton into the walls of the suit whereas other mechanisms would be required for actual function in animatronic mode Also I don’t think you know t what spring locks (at least in the real world do)
@@gameuniverse5973 You... clearly dont know what Springlocks are or how they work. Infact, the NAME spells it out. A Lock that uses a Spring. Springlock. To operate them, you use a company-provided crank to compress the springs and engage the locks, pulling the endo back and making room for a human to fit inside. Water + Wear and Tear compromises the lock in particular, meaning too much movement or water will cause the lock to fail, releasing the springs. Now i have to ask you an important question: When the Springlocks are already released, AS THE SUIT IS IN ANIMATRONIC MODE, how the hell do they release again? The Spring is already extended, it has no force, the Springlocks do NOT move the mouth, they simply hold the Endo back.
ActUallY the end bits of the story are now askew bc matpat (or somebody i forgot) has found out that the cables being black and white are not a force of good but actually just more Afton/glitchtrap action bc of a virus in circus baby i swear this series
Remember that this is ONLY a theory and it has some HARD holes in it. My big issue is the idea that Mrs Afton is still alive, given how Ballora's behaviour in Sister Location indicated she's possessed, not just reanimated. She communicates as if she were sentient - "I can hear someone... creeping around my room", rather than using stock voicelines like "Hey Birthday Boy!" and "Are you ready for a surpriiiiiiiiise!?" Her song also indicates personal anguish at her partner closing himself off, literally and emotionally ("Why do you hide inside your walls when there is music in my halls? All I see is an empty room - no more joy, an empty tomb"), so combining that with her maternal design, it'd make sense that she was initially Afton's wife - then William gets upset when she told him she was leaving and killed her in anger. Not only that, but it's incredibly hard to believe someone would leave someone due to them becoming obsessively insane, have nothing to do with them for decades, then immediately fall into the same pattern of obsession and insanity just due to getting some mail. Edits below: Pat, I know you're being facetious with the "oh no, stuffing dead kids" bit around 25:40, but that's long since been established as Afton's Serial Killer Signature. The kids are impaled by the endoskeleton components and bleed out, slowly and painfully. "We're gonna laugh at this 20 years from now." Kid dies. "The one he shouldn't have killed" is a recurring line in UCN, with Cassidy being the one who keeps Afton from actually dying, coz he wants to torture the serial killer. "Wait, he can't have been the security guard in ALL the games". Yep. ALL of the first six games, you're playing as Michael. Controversial(?) opinion of mine - Baby was only ever an awesome villain in her first appearance. In Sister Location, she was manipulative, ready to do anything to anyone to achieve her own ends. She understood that what she'd been through, what her father had put her through, was a vile atrocity, but in EVERY appearance after that, she's reduced to a brainless slave and that voice line "I will make you proud, Daddy" is the most horrendous, quickest case of Flanderisation in any work of fiction. Ruin is the name of the upcoming DLC, the end of the last video is setting this up.
Ballora can be possessed by someone other than Mrs. Afton. The Pizza place may have closed but they were still doing the rental thing. As for Baby, we have no idea what was true about those interactions. Not only could Baby have been lying to you the whole time to get your sympathy but it might not have been her at all, we never appears in person when she talks to you, and was already scooped on the last night when she got you to 'help' her, and the others have voice mimicing tech.
Yeah, most probably matpat only had miss afton alive in his theory because he wanted to give her some relevance but in the tales of the pizzaplex books the character that brings everything together is a corporate greedman who bought fazbear and was later most probably possesed by glitchtrap
About the ms Afton theory, the reason I really disagree with it is because it seems like Glitchtrap is trying to give Vanessa the Afton family backstory (says her father was named Bill, aka William etc.) And it's said that he and Ms Afton had a nasty divorce and William manipulated his kids to get the court to side with him over custody. And then after that the audio scrambles, but it's implied Ms Afton took her own life afterwards. So I doubt she's still alive, let alone running the company.
As for the Baby thing, I don't think you're looking at this right at all. Consider this: we don't know why the animatronics wasn't to escape in SL. It's easy to guess, but we are never told. And further, we don't know why Baby was kicked out of Ennard. So I think it stands to reason that William was kicked out of the company after the MCI and thus no longer had access to the rental facility. And then there's the question of why Michael was sent there by William in the first place. We know he was sent there by William, he said Elizabeth would be down there. And further, Michael did become a legitimate employee there. He receives the exotic butters, he gets tracked down on the cameras and rescued in night 4, plus more. He didn't get in because William gave him permission or something as a company higher up, he was genuinely hired to work there. So why do I think that he would do that? To break the animatronics out one way or another. To get his source of soul metal back. And the animatronics wanted to get out too. They had that in common. But the reason why is where the similarities end. Baby wanted to get out to go and help William again. To fulfill her purpose to harvest remnant. The others meanwhile just wanted to be free from the dark basement they were kept in. It's debatable if TOYSHNK is Cassidy, but the simplest conclusion is that:
He stuffed TOYSHNK in the Fredbear suit in Suit Mode. The Springlocks went off, they dies a particularly brutal death as William later does.
Two Years Later, he wears the Fredbear suit for the DCI incident, forcing TOYSHNK to "participate" unable to stop him as he does it AGAIN.

Yes, except unless we have any evidence he HAS changed what was planned (the Child in FNAF 2 becoming Charlie, what's in The Box, etc), then it's reasonable to assume most info, ESPECIALLY stated by Scott Himself after FNAF World, is still Canon.
Still not 100% certain.) even hammers home the idea she IS NOT the CEO, that "Mr Burrows" is, that he has a separate goal.
>Matpat is simply just laying out his own theory
A Theory has to have actual evidence and line up (mostly) with the lore, or find some way to jam the pieces together in a vaguely coherent way.
This has PARTS of a Theory, but it isnt one. It's more Fanfic, one that directly contradicts the Canon that we've been told/shown.
We dont know WHAT is and isnt Retconned exactly, but it's frankly stupid to just go "idk anything could be so do anything"
Also, that quote you used from Scott? That was regarding FNAF 4/World specifically. It's generally agreed upon to be some form of Dream, and people REALLY dont like the "it's just a dream" trope.
>but we also don’t know if it’s right
And hence, theories.
Is Michael in Freddy?
Generally, the only certain cases of Retcons i can list off are:
- Charlie died in FNAF 2, not the Boy.
- Michael is the protag of FNAF 4's nights, not CC.
- Happiest Day (maybe?)
- Someone being arrested (via FNAF 1 Newspaper Articles)
To quote above:
"While video surveliance identified the man responsible and led to his capture the following morning, the children themselves were never found and are presumed dead."
"While the suspect has been charged, the bodies themselves were never found."
- (Possibly) DCI
- *Exact* mechanics of Remnant pre-SL(?)
Now, please for the love of god, before you say anything...

About the whole “collecting remnant” thing during the 4th video…
In the FNAF AR game on mobile phones, you collect glowing floating particles around your immediate area.
Semantics.
i contributed to aftons madness, nice!
If there is anything I learned from this theory, it’s that game lore can take the most strangest turns.
Like seriously, imagine being William and saying “I liked to be around kids, took them away from family and friends, needed more kids, and all of a sudden I’m now immortal.”
I always find it funny how confidently the people in chat can be when saying "MatPat got that wrong", when literally NO ONE can agree what is even relevant, yet alone correct, information in this fandom xD
Until recently, people completely dismissed the books!

Very, at least in terms of contridicting information.
Would have been, if we actually knew more about the story at that point. If more had been revealed, it would’ve been the best ending the series could’ve gotten. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that it would’ve been a horrible end to the franchise
@@purplecat6578 if that was the definitive ending, but Scott continued to release games to flesh out bits and pieces from the timeline, then it would've been perfect. Imagine how lovely it would be to just have each new release for ONCE IN OUR LIVES simply slot in nicely here and there!

@@purplecat6578 Indeed. My only hope is that the movie does that to an extent, cleaning up the timeline and making the order of events work.
Watching FNaF newbies watch timelines and barely understanding it at the beginning is fun, somehow.
I just love how upset the FNAF fandom gets. I can't imagine crying and yelling because you don't agree with a specific theory about a fictional pizzeria chain and animatronics. This is really just for fun ✨
We’ve been devoted to this franchise for near on 10 years of course we have our own biases and headcanons
Not to mention the divide over the books some of us think there good for lore making, some don’t care but tend ru prefer the games for info and some of us despise them for existing and don’t want to accept stuff that’s built off them
17 books is too much and in the after video stream hosted 2 days ago not even the main theorists want them (team theorists, Dawko and a bunch of smaller new guys) they are confusing, flux in relevance and take so long to read that even the guy payed to read them all is having trouble keeping up
As someone who has been in Fnaf since the beginning, I can say something:
Fandom has gone from being a solid group trying to solve canon together to a group of fanfiction writers who don't want to hear anyone but themselves.
Or that it "doesn't sound logical."
Yes. In a fandom with ghosts, glitches, remnant and all that (which makes 99% of the whole plot illogical) they are trying to shove logic in (=_=)
There are a lot of details to explain, but I'll try to do it quickly.
That's why Cassidy is C.C.(a simplification of his name - Crying Child)."
(And at this time Scott, who often used ideas from fans and theories - ummmmmmmm....)
I'll also mention another example.
Even if their own fault that this info get there.)
Second - Cassidy herself. People are still fighting over her gender and appearance. Until now. Despite the fact that we've had a rough description of her since 2018. And in 2021 we got an official picture of her. But no one is aware of them. Even more part of people say that these proofs are too petty and that it's not canon (meanwhile, to make William even more bad they're willing to use any little thing)
4) And here I get to the main cause of all this.
@@jmurray1110 I knew there was supposed to be an after stream but from my knowledge it hadn't happened yet. Where fif you find it?

Looking back, I've wondered if the bedroom in that minigame was meant to be a clue. A girls bedroom would be a 'location' for a sister x)

@@Kjf365people would argue it just Micheal talking to himself in two styles
@@gameuniverse5973 Okay, but one of those "styles" is by changing the printed text in the book to be something else, which is not something a living person can do, and whoever Mike is, he is living (or "living" after Sister Location). Where?
So with the sister location timing problem, someone did bring up the theory that perhaps michael got scooped before william was springlocked and mike was searching for his father and was just a step behind him searching for william as william was probably in hiding at that point. Matt admitted that the idea didn't occur to him and didn't seem to flow narratively to him as it left a lot of time after the springlock issue until the next event, admitting that it was his own bias, but does solve some problems with the timing. Mike was obviously much older than the younger child and if he was 14 in '83, he would be 18 by '87.

Admittedly one problem:
It's not a theory if it's completely factually false, and is presented as a possibility.
Ooftroop is making a "Timeline", yet that's made clear it's simply satire of the Timeline, and that while it DOES give some canonical info, it's Just a Story you're meant to enjoy, it's not a Theory :V
I'd disagree however with the Singing Bear part in Part 1 being "Fanon" however, as that IS a legitimate (if stretching) conclusion to make.
I constantly think twitch chat is annoying as shit
Your telling me Afton created animatronics who’s main goal is to kill kids and didn’t think to whitelist HIS OWN CHILDREN!?
Matpat misspoke he cut his face off with a paper guillotine those paper cutter with the huge blades used to cut straight lines that on a hinge
Whenever I need to get something done, like work on a project for multiple hours, I put on the entire playlist of game theory's FNAF videos and rewatch them. For some reason it really helps me get stuff done
Why did I watch the full 2 hrs of this. Was it worth it ? Yes, yes it was 🎉
The second video makes it sound like this: afton makes his dream come true and makes the bears, some company does the sane, he gets mad but gets pulled into that company, gets mad kills kids, gets kicked out, then nakes new anemetronics that are way more advanced, but oh wait, that whas actually hiw it all started and baby whas the first kid to go.
The way I tend to justify in my head how Michael survived the Scooper: when Ennard removed his organs and jumped inside of him, he essentially became an animatronic suit. And a spirit can haunt a suit in this universe, so the way I see it, he's just possessed himself.
(And if any of you try to say "No, they possess the endoskeletons, not the suits", then I will point you to Golden Freddy.)
And I just realized that the Ennard situation might be a payoff to Phone Guy's Night 3 call from the first game, where he suggests acting like an empty costume before realizing, "they might try to stuff a metal skeleton into you...
Circus Baby says "You won't die" 80 times and Michael says "They thought I was you" to William and since Elizabeth practically worships her father it would stand to reason she gave Michael some remnant thinking he was William to save his life
Easy it remnant with it being said he won't die
Yes, I know that it was remnant that saved him, but I just have fun thinking about it this way, and it's also how I might make it slightly easier for a newcomer to understand how it happened.
@@MattTOB618 Honestly, if you wanted to take a similar idea to TOYSHNK is keeping William alive... And that CC is in the Fredbear suit.

@@actpianocover6329 yeah, I agree, just a little mad with him lately for making a bunch of filler episodes.
actually the reason why Scott made the fnaf games was because his old games people kept telling him that they look like creepy animatronics .
As a OG fnaf fan I love seeing newer fans learn the lore
Yes I liked my own comment
you should also understand that there’s been multiple points since fnaf’s release where we have considered ourselves having a full timeline, notably after fnaf 3 and again after ultimate custom night. new stuff just keeps getting added, changing things we thought we knew and adding more confusing elements to the story
It's funny seeing your chat screaming constantly throughout the entire video. They hate matpat lol
Honestly for some, it's likely "they hate the fact he claims it's a Timeline/Theory" :V
When it DOES involve extremely considerable amounts of "Fanon", ESPECIALLY every single part that involves Mrs Afton, really.
The sort that directly contradicts *everything* Scott and the Games and the Book has told us :V
Not to mention the Bite of 83 being "Multiple Simultaneous Springlock Failures"
I'm pretty sure, funnily enough, right after MatPat released the final video in the timeline, just a few days later, a new book release dropped a GIANT lore bomb that shook things up even further (this being the MIMIC reveal).
Aaaand he is in ruin
That frostor guy in the chat that kept saying wrong info and pretending like they were right 💀
"William abused his daughter, michael wasn't the guard in fnaf 3" are some examples
I've already clarified this, so i'll just copy-paste from another comment:
The "William abused his Daughter" aspect i CAN tell you where he got it from.
@@Chompling Fair, but again i will say:
They ARE Canon, Scott's said as much.
They're different Continuities however.
And they ARE meant to "shed light" on aspects of the games...
The problem more is
"Does this actually relate to something in the games, or is this book-specific, or is this a book parallel TO something in-game? Or is this completely unrelated like the Mpregtrap story"
And now you can see why it's a hellish pit :V
@@Chompling >a story where a guard gets killed by springtrap
Yeah... i can say for certain that sort didnt happen, at least. :V
My feeling about this timeline is it's not the best or correct feel like there are many plotholes in there BUT with narrative wise this is the most comprehensible fnaf theory out there
I was like “yay another midnight morepat vid, *looks at video length* *dies*”
This is my first exposure to patterz, and he’s hilarious
So to explain the spring lock suits a bit more since he didn’t cover it to much, the spring lock suits don’t react well to liquid, that’s why it clamped on the crying child and it clamped on Henry within a abandoned restaurant with water dripping from the ceiling most likely getting into the suit
Hard disagree there is no way fredbear jaw was using spring locks it had to by hydrolics
If it was in suit mode maybe maybe that could be why but that’s animatronic mode so they are disengaged
@@jmurray1110huh no it has spring locks always it takes you to pull a switch to make it to suit mode which does not get rid of the spring locks it only pushes the endoskeleton away it always has spring locks in either mode which can be activated with a liquid source
@@gameuniverse5973 while it may still have spring locks they would only be engaged when in suit mode
They were designed to force the endo skeleton into the walls of the suit whereas other mechanisms would be required for actual function in animatronic mode
Also I don’t think you know t what spring locks (at least in the real world do)
@@gameuniverse5973 You... clearly dont know what Springlocks are or how they work.
Now i have to ask you an important question:
When the Springlocks are already released, AS THE SUIT IS IN ANIMATRONIC MODE, how the hell do they release again?
Edits below:
Pat, I know you're being facetious with the "oh no, stuffing dead kids" bit around 25:40, but that's long since been established as Afton's Serial Killer Signature.
Patterrz would probably read that in the nerd voice
About the ms Afton theory, the reason I really disagree with it is because it seems like Glitchtrap is trying to give Vanessa the Afton family backstory (says her father was named Bill, aka William etc.)
And it's said that he and Ms Afton had a nasty divorce and William manipulated his kids to get the court to side with him over custody.
So when they were finally free they came to an impasse where Baby wanted to find William and serve him, while the others wanted to do literally anything else and rejected her. In all the books, Baby is consistently shown to be William's loyal minion.
i feel so bad for this guy because the fanaf move will come out, change the canon and they will say something like "all of its canon including the movies" and he will have to make another NEW FANF ULTIMATE TIMELINE that will take a year to make
or it could just be an alternate fnaf universe that has no connection to the lore
